Creggan and ports gonna be hard to stop this year

I'm hearin st brides have hot at least 5 outside coaches taking them this year.

Creggan and ports gonna be hard to stop this year

Both going very well.

Cargin, Agahgallon, Galls, Brigids and Dunloy will all get a bit of a bounce from returning county players you'd think though.

Has potential to be a very competitive and entertaining championship.

Or is that they've had 5 outside coaches come in to do a workshop/coaching session with them as a one-off?

Wicklow next weekend it is then. Definitely a very winnable game for us (though they will say the same).

If we won that then the winners of fermanagh and sligo then a final a possibility... One step at a time though.

Wicklow had a good start to the season then fell away when it mattered, but have come back with some good form, be a decent game. All teams, bar Down, when they show up, at same ish level

If Antrim are to have aspirations of promotion next year, Wicklow at home in a knockout game is one they should be winning

Attended Casements v Dunloy yesterday as i was hoping to see a very entertaining game. Unfortunately didnt pan out that way. Casements while still experimenting, had a real ruthless streak in them. Their pace in middle 8 really surprised me with the big lad mcaleese really standing out around the middle. However, from midweek game, dunloy seemed to have rotated the squad a bit with some usual faces youd expect to start coming off the bench when game was gone by HT. I would say mcquillan/o'brien have learned more from Casements in that game than the other way around. With less than a handful of games left to play in league, the balance between finding form and not showing your hand in these games where both teams are contenders for c'ship leaves things very interesting.

I would say Kickhams are the stand out in form team, but i definitely feel they have went through the gears very early. Still expect them to be in semi's

Agree Nil, at least half a dozen clubs in the mix. Should be an interesting few months ahead.

Agree Nil, at least half a dozen clubs in the mix. Should be an interesting few months ahead.

Its between Creggan and Portglenone for it, everyone else is playing for 3rd place

Lol...Cargin will still be favourites to win every match they play just about from here on in. League matters nought to them at this stage.

But yes, they do have serious competition, no doubt about that.

Wonder who will be favourites when the odds are posted? Ah right, we know who it will be.

I wouldn't say comfortably. We'll hopefully win this but they'll think they can beat us too. The league game was tight enough but hopefully we have improved since then.

What was it the wise men said - leagues are for playing championships for winning    I still would have Cargin up there as maybe favourites for the championship. Portglenone still a lot to prove. (maybe they will prove it but they still have to). Young Doherty looks to be shooting the lights out for Portglenone.

I would say lick the hands will have Dunloy playing with a swagger as champions this year and why wouldn't they

As for the rest I can't see any team touching Creggan or portglenone although I hope I'm wrong
