I expect the Moygashel arrest was spurred by the burned houses in Belfast.

PSNI have to be seen to be doing something. Catholics in North are like boiled frogs, every bonfire should be state regulated and monitored..if we are going to have them.

Anyone found at an illegal one jailed for 2 months. Policing is a joke, it just would not fly anywhere else.

I was driving up the lower ormeau road this evening and there was a reasonable police presence... do they do this every year to ensure no unauthorised marches in the contentious areas? Awful waste of money if they do.

What's this talk about a mediator for this potential  Garvaghy Road  march on Sunday?

Surely for  the last 20 odd  years, the Parades Commission  came to  a decision  about whether the march  does or doesn't Go ahead .

A mediator suggests  some sort of compromise  is  on the cards, does it not? ... Meaning a  march of some sort.

Why aren't  the PC  making  a plain Yes or No decision?

Have I missed something,  or what has changed this year?
