how good were longford? ;)

Longford folk don't think that way...

At the risk of being stereotypical, Wicklow were so poor that it was difficult to judge Longford's performance. They eased off in the second half before a final rally at the end that brought the fourth goal.

Having been at the Leinster League final, I'm not holding out a lot of hope for next Saturday.
Leader Cup winners: 1945, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023.

According to Paddy Power, it's Dublin (1/4), Meath (4/7), Kildare (8/13) and Laois by a whisker (10/11) for the semi finals, while Ladbrokes are very similar, 1/4 Dub, 8/13 Meath, 4/6 Kildare and 5/6 Laois.

Guess that's that then.

You would believe there was Wicklow schools final on the night before this with a lot of the Wickla minors involved.

Minor footballers make one change for Longford duel

Eoin Boyne comes into the starting 15 at corner-back with Rutherson Real moving out to the half-back line.

Paddy O'Higgins, selected at centre-forward in Dublin's last round victory over Westmeath, will partner Emmet Ó Conghaile at centre-field with Gavin Ivory moving to full-forward.

Good luck to the Labhrás Ógs todays in their QF v Dublin.

I believe uppity young Dubs have booked Smiler Fay Park in Longford for a challenge match versus Mayo after the leaving cert is over!

Is this arrogance, or wha?

OK Indiana - I'll let high ranking Longford Minor County Board offical know that what he heard from Longford Slashers was, in fact, bullshit.

Thanks for clearing that one up.
