Over-dependant on PJ though. He is playing well but he is 33 and could tire.

They are beginning to win midfield though.

A few careloss sloppy wides from Galway. Sligo are a team and have a plan. No shape or pattern to the Galway play but Joyce and Meehancould still pull it off for them. Only 5 pts in it now

Sligo must be sick, threw that away draw game undeserved but credit to Galway and PJ in particular great pass for the goal

Sligo did throw that one away in the second half however Galway did the same in the first.

I'm sorry, but Meehan should get 8 weeks off for that dive.

He has brought the lowest form of gamesmanship into the sport and has been doing it repeatedly for the last 6 or 7 years. The man is a decent player but is a disgrace to the sport. He should be hanging his head in shame.

Sligo could & should have won that game by 10pts! the 2pts they only scored in the 2nd half plus the awful wides cost them the game unbelievably comeback from Galway hard to see Sligo picking themselves up after that

Yes soft free but there were a few Goldrick let go ealierparticular one foul on PJ. However it should not have mattered to Sligo as they should have the game well wrapped up before then - should have scored more than 2 pts in second half. Galway will need to improve drastically to have any chance in replay.
