Pog obvious big fav for the Tour but Vingegaard is in good shape and if he has the Team around him then he's a chance. Vingegaard's team are boasting his power to weight ratio is up again from last year so are expecting big things from him. Can only be who's gonna finish 3rd...

Don't really see him being troubled tbh. Vingegaard doesn't have anyone the level of Del Toro. He might even be in yellow by the end of Stage 1.

I think Jonas is really going to bring it, mightn't be good enough but he's injury free, fit and having a go.

Seixas will be interesting for sure. He was still bandaged up pretty heavily on the left side after his crash at the Dauphiné.

Brilliant opening stage and Vingegaard in yellow. Hope they stick with this TTT format as an opener going forward.

Got a spot on a roundabout so they were all going through in their teams and largely single file and got to see all the main men. Over in a flash so not quite the same at going up a Pyrenee or an Alp at jogging pace but very cool nonetheless. Bucket list item for sure.

Now, home to watch the punchy stuff and the hurling.

Winner on the slopes of Montjuïc, Isaac del Toro was clocked at 45.3 km/h on the final 700 m climb at 7 %.

That was an incredible final 30 mins. Brandon McNulty put in an almighty shift.

Pogacar was able to check behind himself multiple times for Vingegaard and Remco and he and IDT still finished hand in hand. A dominant masterclass. UAE didn't look to be anywhere on the first lap of Montjuic and it looked like it was just Pogacar and McNulty. Next time around IDT and Yates were there to take over and Vingegaard was by himself.

Sprint finish today on the cards. Merlier, Philipsen, Kooij most likely although Girmay supposed to be in serious shape and Pedersens sprint yesterday was unreal, that said he wasn't facing any sprinters. Tomorrows stage is one to tune into.
