Is this Killyclogher v Greencastle game DEFINITLY this Saturday? It has been moved all over the place. The last I heard it was November 7th. It would be great if it is this weekend, as I would be unable to make it next weekend. I'd hate to miss the last game of the season.
Wouldnt worry if I missed it-Greencastle have already won this game

The fact that Killyclogher havent trained in 6 weeks would indicate that Greencastle would be favourites.

Cant imagine Penrose would have committed to Carmen, given that his club have a relegation decider this weekend.

Would this new poster (who suggested this move) be trying to stir up some discontent in Aghyarn as it may benefit his own relegation threatened team?

Seems like they have an agenda signing up to post such a controversial 1st post...

if someone wants to trawl through old posts I'm pretty sure that rumour has been suggested regularly over the last 2 years.

Speaking to a Coalisland official and they reckon there is a vindictive agenda going on as they have been at loggerheads with the county board for not signing up to pay £1,000 a year into Gervaghey while they are carrying out their own re-development work. They got no backing from county board and are suspicious UC game to Omagh was initiated by them in the first place. It does seem a very strange decision as other Ulster games have been played in Coalisland and Tyrone and St Marys in the McKenna Cup. Since the Clonoe Ulster senior game two years ago they have actually improved their facilties and opened a new stand this year.
The Tyrone board also told Coalisland the reason they didn't get any club championship games this year was because they had not 'co-operated' with the Gervaghey project.
Roslea could feel the wrath of this anger if the players can channel it properly...

Coalisland fail to get venue changed
29 October 2010

Newly-crowned Tyrone football champions Coalisland are up in arms after the Ulster Council refused their request to have Sunday's AIB Ulster club SFC quarter-final against Roslea moved to their home pitch.

The game will be played in Omagh's Healy Park, despite Fr Peter Campbell Park in Coalisland being one of four designated county grounds in Tyrone.

An angry Na Fianna chairman Gerard McStravick told The Irish News: "It's just a kick in the teeth. We are extremely disappointed with the decision and it's a blow for us, a blow for the town and a blow for grassroots football.

"It would have been an incredible occasion to host our first Ulster fixture in 20 years in our own town, we all feel let down by the Council's decision."

To make matters worse, Coalisland claim they haven't been given a valid reason for the decision.

"We can't understand it," McStravick added.

"We've still got no word as to why we aren't allowed to host it. Clonoe were able to play their first round Ulster match here in 2008 against St. Eunan's and we've actually improved our facilities since then.

"Our facilities are second to none so why is it not okay for us to play here? The Ulster Council has to decide whether this is a club championship or a county championship."

This makes the fact even worse. Disgraceful if Tyrone CB are behind this.
On a side note, what have been the average attendences over the last few years in Ulster Club games?
