Absolute disgrace clubs have not been notifed of dates for champ yet. Imagine the scenario if venue date and time was nt yet released for tyrone antrim game. Clubs are treated shamefully. How are teams supposed to prepare properly. Its time clubs took a stand against this treatment.

Seems that the MESSIAH is letting some senior games be played from 28-30th MAy but is trying to get the remainder changed until the end of June.  This would mean that the teams playing at the end of May (some clubs will have only 17 days notice of their first game, thats presuming they get notice today!) have to peak for then and if successful stay at that level of fitness for probably another 3 months before the next round, while those playing at the end of June will have to peak for 1 month less, surely this must give an advantage to those playing at the end of June.

The whole thing is ridiculous in the way that the clubs are dictated by whatever suits the county.  It seems that the 13 day rule is not enough for the messiah, why don't we just scrap club football totally and all bow at the feet to the county team!

Final Whistle

its not fair the way the clubs are now dictated to-far from it-however, some clubs are better off than others in this respect!

Last year was farcical, Moy (4 county players) had to play against those with none such as Kildress, Trillick etc.

I'm hearing  the request was turned down and senior games go ahead as scheduled... May 30th and June 6th.

Surely like other years, the games will be spread over the Thursday, Friday, Sat and Sunday in order to gain maximum coverage and attendance ?.

KIDDO 4

Antrim take on Tyrone in the Ulster GAA Football Senior Championship Quarter Final on Sunday 23rd May 2010.

The tickets issued are for the unreserved seating area in Casement. The covered stand in Casement Park is very small and there is obviously a high demand for these seats. In order to accommodate all Season Ticket holders together the unreserved seating is the best option. Unreserved seating means first come, first served! You can pay for guests at the stiles on the day. If you would prefer Terrace Tickets for this game please indicate to us by return e-mail by 4pm tomorrow. Your tickets will be available to print in your account early next week.

This arrangement is specific to this fixture and we will update you on the situation for your team's next match in advance.

That's a shame when yer trying to clock yer first SFC win.

Why play the double header in Carrickmore on a Thursday? Would a weekend not be better?

Because the bearded 1 wanted it played,an absolute disgrace the way these players are being treated players going to have 2 take half days of work boys that have 2 travel from england, scotland & down south alright for the cty players  who get looked after well but not acceptable for the ordinary club player in  this climate.
