Listening to the radio sounds like the Fianna will never have a better chance of getting the Dromore monkey off their back. Apparently McMenamin has been woeful.

Level now with 5/10 mins to go.

Mc Ginn was screaming for him to be moved to centre back to get more out of Ricey.

Sounded like McGinn was itching to be on the line managing Dromore tonight.

Dromore lucky to be still in it by the sound of Noel and Paddy.

They managed a draw last year in the first round and went on to demolish Omagh in the replay - Dromore I'd say will be happy enough to be still there considering they were short a few tonight. They'll be a different proposition in the replay which might be held in 3 months time if we're lucky.

EC Unique

Noel would be doing his nut if on the line!

Next Friday night maybe, as that'll keep the 2 week rule in place.

will probably not take place until tyrone are out of the championship which will likely be august/september.

trillick beating clonoe isnt that big a shock really. think a couple of people got it spot on here! trillick have had a decent start to the campaign and the champions are always vulnerable in the 1st round. remember newly promoted beragh should have knocked champions errigal out back in '94.

also intermediate football in tyrone is very strong and established senior teams seem to look down their noses at it but it should be noted that the moy have made a better start in senior football this year than in intermediate last year and that cookstown (senior semi-finalists 2 years ago) are getting it a lot tighter than expected in intermediate.

ardboe will need to be at their very best if they are going to beat the Moy tomorrow night.

Hopefully we'llbe at our best. As you say the form of so called intermediate sides is good. Moy and Trillick both have had very good starts to the season.

where was he playing?

bigfrank

Wearin number 5 and picking up plunkett kane, both players had average enough games, cancelled each other out!!

aroundincircles

Just home from both games gutted we where beat but not surprised fair play to trillick. Fainna should have had dromore out of the cup tonight it was some chance. Mc menamin very quiet tonight dromore as a whole was very quiet and subdued especialy in second half.

Overthebar!

after tonight who do yous think will win the senior championship?

nothingbettertobeat

must be very disheartening been a clonoe defender working your ass of and sweeping up countless trillick attacks with the forward line kicking wide after wide.although conditions nat great you'd expect a side to rack up more than 2 points in 32 mins of football.clonoe keeper done very well and clonoe number 5 best player on the pitch ran his socks off and got a great score into a strong breeze.trillick were lost at midfield clonoe dominated but a toothless forward line was their undoing.
trillick looked more up for it on the night and although people in recent weeks papered over the cracks all doesn't seem to be well behind the scenes at clonoe.
as for the second match at healy park draw was a fair result dromore done all the running in the first half and should have been better value at half time than their 2point lead.
Peter donnelly was brilliant i thought and Stepthen MC nally, couple of big hits handed out ricey on the receiving end towards the end of the game.i think coalisland might have missed the boat they only really started to believe they could win it after the goal.
