Quote from: marty34 on October 21, 2026, 06:27:57 PMIs Darragh Canavan fit to play this week?

Out for 6 weeks.

Errigal will not do Ulster without him...and may be lucky to win Tyrone.

Always seems to have injury issues that lad. Never gets a good run at it.

Yep. Must be his diet? Heard he's very fond of his pizzas. He needs to start taking more protein, carbohydrates, calcium, omega-3 fats, vitamins and in general eat healthy to prevent these said injuries. Hope he's reading this. We need him back in action for Tír Eoghain to bring Sam back to Galbally. Slán.

I know a player like that, we call him Pothouse and had to retire him to management.

Too much reliancce on a few last years in County. Think MO'R County S&C setup is no good and these tendon etc and like injuries stem from that. Need a proper up to date rounded approach to management these days not a few shaggy fellas trying to sound optimistic.

DaleCooper

It takes serious time for tendons and ligaments to adapt properly so wonder is cutting edge S&C approach being followed.

You would assume this is all thought of but crucial for the next few years and those young players bedding in.

marty34

I'd say nobody (managers) really cares about young Canavan. Not good to say that.

All managers want their pound of flesh ....literally. No manager will give him a proper break. But they'll be demanding the other managers give him rest etc.

Abit of a bizarre one that and people will probably poke fun at Errigal, But Dunloy camógs are currently under investigation by the PSNI for breaches of the Public Processions Act after winning the Antrim title two weeks ago, so better safe than sorry. Suppose if it's rejected they can apply to parade in Glencull or Altamuskin.

I'd imagine that's the basis on which they have done it.

Also applications on by Ballycastle, Cushendun, St Paul's Lurgan, Ruairi og cushendall, dunloy & St John's castlewellan.

Sad that's what it's coming to.

Said on here that Rock would win IFC Final replay by 6+. Think Edendork to win by similar margin tomorrow night.

If there was anything needed to persuade the neutral to support Edendork its this...The Israel of Tyrone seemed to have been inspired by the Garvaghy Road antics and pre-booked the parade, but the residents of Edendork might have a thing or two to say about that. Dazzler to shoot the lights out, Errigal to not take well to the cowl, and Conn MVP. Lump the result at 2/1. UTD.

Surely that Parades Comission application is a windup?

Somebody has done that as a prank?

As much as I would like to join in the errigal bashing, I think they are in the clear on this one. all clubs must have been advised to notify the Commission of a possible parade

I see Robert Emmetts, Carey Faughs, St Johns, Dunloy, Ruairi Ogs all with parades listed for this weekend

Aye I saw alot of ones doing the same but my god it doesn't look good lol.

TheDergView

I think tonight will be a straight shootout between McCurry and McCartan.

Will Ruairi be fit to start tonight? Heard he was in London with Richy D during the week.
Errigal by 5

If you genuinely believe there's any outcome tonight other than Errigal taking the O'Neill Cup home, it's probably time to book an appointment with a psychiatrist
