Tyrone GAA need to have a look at themselves and make the games exciting again

Thought Luke Ferguson was MOTM
Kickout stats at both ends will be grim reading for Edendork- handed possession to Errigal every time on the Errigal KO.
Edendorks 3 county men will need to bring more to the party next week if they are going to get over line along with Harry Og
Some great turnovers in Edendork defence but very slow getting up the pitch

After hearing the news yesterday that darragh canavan wasn't playing it wasn't all surprising that edendork could have won that one.

Historically despite the massive area that encapsulates errigal ciaran sports group, without peter canavan and his sons they'd just be another donaghmore. 2 pre war championships for ballygawley and another in 2012 (where they stunned dromore) is all they have to show without God and his direct descendents. Fairly pathetic when you think of it.

Between 2006 and 2022 they won one championship despite having 4/5 active county players basically the whole time.

McDermott is a great prospect but yesterday showed he can't handle all the focus, history repeating itself. Quinn is also excellent will have some career if he manages to avoid the injuries that the canavans chronically have.

There is blood in the water, I hope edendork have the cajones to finish them off.

It does feel like Errigal are on the ropes - very much like Pomeroy were in the Intermediate Final, think Edendork will finish Errigal off as well on Friday night

thought that myself, edendork were to slow to get up and they realised that in the last 15 and started kicking the ball more which worked for them, errigal wont be happy with the wides they kicked and i would say edendork cant afford to let errigal get shorts away like they did yesterday

Quote from: tyroneStatto on October 18, 2026, 09:36:59 PMThere's always been something peculiar about the goalposts at that end of the ground.

Always found Healy difficult for shooting in general. Several people have said same, not sure why this is.

A bit like Owenbeg. The top of the posts at the car park end seem to be back 5 yards from where there put in the ground at.

Must be the wind over a constant long period of time.

The better team will run away with it on Friday night, feel like Dork missed the boat, Errigal to cut loose

GAA Club Fan

Ae we starting to become a county that finds the negative in everything.

- Game goes to extra time- "Disgrace. These are amateur footballers. Asking them play 80 mins only leads to injuries. Boys need to get up for work in the morning. Typical GAA"
- Game goes to a replay- "Disgrace. Typical money grab. Surely they could have extra time. Typical GAA".
- Scrap league play offs- "Disgrace. The one team going up in the league has ruined the competition in the league. They don't care about club football. Typical GAA"
- Play offs reintroduced and 6 weeks between games- "Disgrace. Teams waiting 6 weeks for games. Season should be over weeks ago. Typical GAA".
- Tyrone don't invest in stadiums, infastructure or bring in top class S and C coach- "Disgrace. Why can't they spend a few pound. Typical GAA".
- Tyrone charge for streaming and reinvest in stadiums etc- "Disgrace. Money grabbing GAA. Surely they can charge less. Typical GAA".

I get it's far from perfect. I've gripes of my own. The issue re streaming, admission etc has been active for 3 or 4 years. Go to your club, get a motion raised, and take it to the AGM in a few weeks time.

The officials in Tyrone get a lot wrong. However they get a lot right too.

@ The Glennelly Gremlin, I hope u enjoyed that one. As a Naomh Eoghan man I couldn't be prouder. To see our club in Senior football and a small club like the Rock to get over the line. Micky Kerr needs investigated for his antics in the build up that won't Matter to the rock men this week.
