Rock v Pomeroy £18

Unreal - and the replay £15, for god sake try claim back a bit of decency by at least giving the replay free to all who purchased the first game, some sort of give back rather than TAKE TAKE TAKE. Connollys of moy have even stopped the competition ffs.

Quote from: uptheblues on October 14, 2026, 12:20:09 PMSo assuming Edendork v Errigal does not go to a reply the grand total of Tyrone TV Streams purchased by myself is £443 out of the £489 total football streams available.

A bit of comparison;

Fermanagh tv £60 for all games
Mayo tv €125 for at least 30 games
Derry tv £60 for all games
Armagh tv £180 for All league and championship matches
Clubber €199.99 all live games for 365 days from the date of purchase.

It also exceeds a year of NOW's full Sky Sports package: £27.99 a month, or about £336 for 12 months.
GAA+ is another comparison: its 2026 pass costs €95 for 40 exclusive games.

I think this is outrageous in the current climate, not to mention the quality of games has been overly poor this year, And as for "Shat comes in" i'd rather watch it on mute. And please change up the chat show at half time!

CB must consider a season/weekend pass or something. From the outside looking in, with the lack of double headers and a mere £3 off for the Rock v Pomeroy replay :o , It looks like they are putting the arm into the bread and butter members at every opportunity.

That's just my 2pence (They'll probably take that too) #ShatComesIn

You realise no one forced you to pay this money?

Your right! But having to purchase almost all games for my father gives me no choice. In fact, I've purchased games then went to them or bought another stream to watch at my own home, so my financial input is likely more than suggested. Ive just taken the figures from the email account my father uses to watch the games.

But hey GAA where we all belong, unless your priced out  :o

This was all fed back by our county delegate at a committee meeting after members started discussing the pricing and I think people are comparing apples with oranges here.

Fermanagh, Derry, Armagh and Mayo only stream the bigger championship games, whereas Tyrone streams practically everything, including junior games and hurling matches that are probably making a loss. The comparisons with Sky Sports and GAAGO are similar enough to the ones about the other county season tickets. Neither shows every game, and there are always complaints when certain matches aren't available.

It's also worth looking at what clubs in other counties pay in levies and how many club/county draw tickets they have to sell on top of their annual fees. Clubs in Tyrone don't face the same costs, largely due to Club Tyrone, gate receipts and streaming income.

The policy has always been to charge £1 more for a stream than the price at the gate to encourage people to attend games, and personally I think that's fair enough, especially when people attending games do have a season ticket option. Even when you do have a season ticket, you can't always be at everything and I had to stream games in addition to it. The scheduling and lack of double-headers this year are a different issue though and people are right to question them.

I'm also told that when a CCC member asked at last week's County Committee meeting who was actually scheduling the games as they weren't and they got very defensive response from the county chairman and secretary, especially to do with the throw-in time for this Sunday. If that's an accurate account, it does raise questions.

The reason given for not offering packages was to limit piracy. Considering that fewer games seem to be appearing through the main Fire Stick providers, you can understand the thinking, but if some kind of package was available for punters who are willing to pay it then might be a runner. But given the number of paying customers this year is up we're told, it seems many people are going to opt for the free option regardingless.

Nobody is saying everything has been handled well this year, and there are fair questions to be asked about the scheduling and the lack of double-headers. The reality is that unless the number of streamed games is cut, there's a crackdown on the piracy issue across the board or the streaming income is replaced from elsewhere, which is more than likely to be in the form of a club/county draw, then I can't see much changing, especially as the streaming pulls it from a wider base.

What's an Acai bowl?

Drive through Coalisland at the roundabout closest to Springisland and you'll see.

Welcome to the board Martin  :P

All joking aside, All above very valid and agreeable somewhat. I personally don't want the service for free, but put £200 or £250 on a season pass, i think you'll find more people will buy it and in turn see more games. Because, more so at the start of championship, i would say a lot of people picking and choosing what to buy or going to the pub. But if an early bird £250 option was there pre championship people will buy to have it, legally and definitely, rather than hoping it will come on the firestick and not freeze or stop before the Shat Comes In :)

There is an opportunity to have stream sponsors put a price on it for a business logo on screen and business information at half time. By this stage we all already know we wanna be at connollys of moy.

The grab all association can expect nothing less it'll not over shadow the football we have to showcase this weekend. Is big Frank back for the Plunketts - appeal should go through nothing in it in my opinion I'd say your rock man didn't get it for saying his prayers.
Edendork and ballygawley a tougher tie than a lot are giving I would say Edendork have built up some air miles over past few weeks - too much money in clubs these days . Dazzler to score last min 2 pointer for the win

So you are saying a strike on an opponent is permitted and is not a straight red card?

1st post 19 years later justifying Tyrone tv being good job even if it's the most expensive sporting competition you can buy in all of Ireland.

Very strange.

I think the county board finance committee need to take an economics class. Providing a season pass at 200 a skite will more than likely increase your revenue!
