You obviously weren't impressed when they put 1-19 past your boys at home? Not much surprise really, the only decent bit of defending done in kildress is you on this board if someone mentions them.

Yeah there 1-19 versus our 2-15 a one point win against a team in a relegation playoff!

I was more judging them on their performance against Owen Roes who would have put them away if mcshane was fit.

It's just an opinion I could be wrong but I think a strong pomeroy outfit will beat them convincingly.

We didn't have a bad season, assuming fintona win championship we will go up through second place. Anywhere giving odds for fintona to win junior all Ireland? Hearing they have key man Cormac Watson back from injury and starting to pick up form which of course should be a massive boost in their push for all Ireland

It's hard to see, look at the turnover of players for stewartstown in last 3-4 years, the quality of the players lost since their junior all Ireland run hasn't been replaced. Fintona seem good, but it's hard to judge them until they come up against a strong junior team in the provincial series as Junior in Tyrone this year is overall very poor.

No doubt Fintona are well ahead of the other teams. Glenelly finished 2nd in the league and will most likely piggy back up off a Fintona win. Their results in intermediate next year will more or less confirm the quality of the chasing pack. I would suspect they will get 15 tankings, and be back down to 3.

Glenelly will be eyeing up the likes of Kildress, but other than that, I'd say they lose every game, max two points, and straight back down again. Stewartstown would have given Division 2 a better go, but they couldn't get the job done on that fateful evening in Plumbridge.

Fintona, Kildress, Drumquin, Killeeshil, Rock, Greencastle, Aghyaran, Gortin - these are all games that Glenelly could get league points in. Not to many teams go down from Intermediate with two or less points.

Glenelly will have to be the worst team to come out of junior in a long time.
Years and years of immalgamated division 3 and 4 youth teams and never really competed in junior with their men's teams ever. Will get points somewhere but would have the house on them finishing dead last.

Agree with the poster above about drumragh. What's happened them. Years and years of being there or there abouts in junior and nowhere near it from what I've seen this season.

Feel bad for the trillick men, had to listen to galbally yapping for a week only for them to back down cause they realised they'd have to miss freshers down in the big smoke. Typically galbally hai always yella. Soon be done in intermediate anyway. Good ridance

drumragh always seem to have a lot of injuries which affects them badly never having a regular 15 out. Glenelly would be the probably be the 5th best team in junior, if fintona win the championship there would be 2/3 other teams that would give a better account of themselves in intermediate next year than the plum. bad league form let the other sides down

Glenelly could get 8-10 points. Clubs coming up seem to pick up a few surprise early wins and as someone said earlier, Glenelly could beat an unprepared Rock, Kileeshil, Drumquin, Kildress, Beragh, Greencastle, Aghyaran, Derrylaughan or Fintona and will probably win a game no one expects them to win up in the Plum (maybe Moy), so who knows.

I'd expect fintona to push on and have a similar league campaign to cookstowns this year.

Glenelly will have a massive step up in div 2, they could get points on the board, they have few good players but lack consistency.

Be interesting to see how Dregish fair in div 1.
