Is Niall McKenna injured?

It would hardly makes much sense not letting a player play for his university, especially with their ongoing preparation for the Sigerson Cup, and in turn not naming him the starting Tyrone team ::)

Probably exams.

Wee Roddy

I would be surprised and then again not surprised if Dom Corrigan came back to Carrickmore. He would have massive respect about the club from the majority and then there are those that would hold him responsible for getting beat on the final league of the 3 in a row in 2006.
The money men in the club still have a say then! I could nearly pick his backroom team now if his was appointed ;).

Sorry Roddy.  Was that in the "league" final of 2006.  Who beat you and what happened?

Radda bout yeee

Any clubs back training this week? Theres been no word of our club getting back to business so I was just wondering what the other teams in Tyrone are doing?

there was talk of the leagues starting earlier this year, is that happening?
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

You can't please everyone as you well know roddy, but as far as the two backroom team goes there is an outside man with no ties or connections to the club who will also be training the team an a well respected man from the club. Meeting tonight to finalise everything.

Wee Roddy

Sounds good. It might convince a few to either come home, don't go or postpone retirement!

One one hand we have the Carrickmore club volunteering the move of a large piece of GAA heritage over 100mile up the road for people to sit down in and watch any brawls that may erupt through their execution of our great game and on the other hand we see the club pay out large sums for their employees to manage their adult teams. It's great to see a club with such a diverse perspective of the GAA and its culture and the importance heaped upon the volunteer to the strength of our organisation.

Such a club being what it is it's not a surprise that it seems to dominate the entries on this forum

Roddy and Nally aren't going to be happy about this!!! Let the verbal battering commence!

Good call SITB, though you have to admire the way it was written.

A great piece and one actually worth thinking about the contradictions and hypocrisy so rife in our association .
The place is full of money grabbing managers , media types ,involved in college football all under the pretence of being football mad , don't be fooled these people are only interested in money .There seems to be a glut of them around the Derry border !!
