KIDDO 4

Ref was Eamon Mc Hugh , with Colm McCullagh not playing due to injury and Conor Gormley  only playing for the second half , with Eoin Mc Cusker registering 1.3 for the visitors, with your prediction  a home win not coming up trumps.

Zapatista

I was expecting much better from Carrickmore yesterday. Only 2 points each in the second half was a poor return from both teams.

It was worth it just to see Ricey block a certain goal from Block at the end ;D ;D

Silly question but who will win the play off ?  ;)

Norf Tyrone

I see Dromore getting a caning from one of its members in the TH this morning KIDDO.

;) ;) no one has bothered to mention a wee disturbance after the Carman v Dromore game! Why? I think (barring extra rime) that this is the 7th time they have drew since 2004

Tyrone's Sean Cavanagh has been named as Ireland captain for this year's International Rules series in Australia.

Cavanagh, who helped Tyrone to a third All-Ireland football title last week, will be appearing in his fourth Test series, having played in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Cork's Graham Canty, who toured Australia in 2005, 2003 and 2001 and has already played on ten occasions for his country, will act as vice-captain.

Ireland will play Australia in two Tests at the Subiaco Stadium in Perth on 24 October and at the MCG on 31 October.

Ireland manager Seán Boylan said: 'Seán Cavanagh has been in the form of his life this year. He was Man-of-the-Match in the All-Ireland final and was one of the key players in Tyrone's march to glory this year.

'He is an excellent communicator and leads by example on the field. He is also ideally suited to the International game and it is a tremendous boost to have him on board for the trip Down Under.'

Of Canty, Boylan said: 'Graham is a natural leader. You only have to think of the way he came up the field to score the winning goal for Cork in the closing moments of their Munster Championship game with Limerick this year when they looked down and out.

'He has starred for Ireland in the past and is one of the best defenders in gaelic football at the moment'

Boylan will announce his full squad to tour Australia at Croke Park on Tuesday 7 October.

just had a read of it. somebody from dromore has a dig at the amount of suits purchased for county committee members for the all-ireland final, they also have a dig at trillick being in division 2 but the dromore PRO seems to be the main target for not hyping the club up.

Whilst Sean is away to Oz does the intermediate championship be put on hold?

apparently the championship goes ahead regardless - no break for players in Australia.

Good man Tiroan. Answer your PMs. I have had 4 messages asking what happened after the final whistle! If anything did happen it would be in the referees report! Correct?

tieroan

::)fair enough big lad........if you say so. You sound very defensive there.

longball

Orangeman and co ive tipped Ardboe for this years championship- great pool of talent there at the minute- the mcguigans, Coleman, Coney, McConville, Gavin Wylie, Teague thats only to mention a few. what you think ur chances are? is Gavin Devlin still playing heard he is managing in Derry or somewhere?
Spotted any unladylike behaviour report within:
