So is it Hill v Aghaloo with the losers down?

Losers down, winners play the Div3 promotion playoff winners for last remaining place in Division 2

Dungannon vs Moy
Urney vs Loughmacrory

In the Div 2 promotion playoff

Can anyone confirm or deny the story the Belfast Telegraph and Hoganstand are trying to push that a Coalisland supporter lent over the railing and "hit" Leo Meenan?? I didn't see anything from were we were

I was in the stand and I seen the incident but obviously couldn't see who the culprit was as it was over on terrace side but have since heard the name involved....the Irish Independent are following the story as well so won't be the last we hear of it.

When I heard who it 'reportedly' was it doesn't surprise me in the slightest !!!

So what exactly did you see?
Around the 24th minute Meenan was standing up against the wire facing the field, about to hit a sideline ball whe a "well built" chap reached over and warmed his ear.
Just saw it on the video of the match, No bother identifying the culprit from the video. Though as I am not from that part of the world I couldn't name him.

Where'd you see this video?

So it happened during the match???

A so called 'gael' punching a player from behind whilst he was attempting to take a line ball is a disgrace, I trust Na Fianna will investigate and take appropriate action.
The first half was even, the second half was even worse

Someone just name him for frig sake, should be named and shamed so people know about his actions, total disgrace and embarrassment!!

I would like to say this man would not  be representing the good Gaels of Coalisland Fianna a few I have spoken too from Friday night are disgusted about this incident, that is 100% fact... Every club has an odd clown knocking about them may I add...

Did Conor McKenna play for Eglish today?

Yeah he did play.... close enough game up to the last 5 minutes Rahillys had a few players missing Eglish more hunger to win in typical end of season stuff...

Y was there rahhillys missing?
I'm trying to decide on a really meaningful message..

I see the reserve championship is scheduled for this weekend!!  I wonder will we see many clubs concede their fixtures due to the County Board being a complete and utter shambles

Would love to get a yarn with the man that done it to see what his motivation was. Would could leo have done on him
Do you think there is any justification for a cowardly blow from behind?
no

Grand so.

As Tothetop03 says there are clowns in every club and I wouldn't denigrate The Fianna over the actions of one individual.

WT4E

He must of had a few pints on board! Good job big Brian Meenan wasn't in the vicinity he would have give a swift dose of manners I'd say.

square_ball

This fella doesn't need a few pints to act the idiot to be fair. I'd say coalisland ones are pretty ashamed of his actions. Hopefully they hand down some kind of suspension no matter how difficult to police.
