If the next round is starred then i would expect greencastle to beat clan na gael and cookstown to beat killeeshil.

If so, the only game greencastle can really slip up in is away to strabane whereas cookstown have struggled at home this year and could get caught by gortin or derrylaughan. However at this stage i'm gonna say Cookstown will just about win the league (a draw against strabane costing greencastle)

Even if greencastle finish second in the league there's still a good chance they'll go up into Division 1 as cookstown would then be favourites to do the double.

Does anybody know when Killeeshil get their players back from america?.

Them boys have no notion of going home!!!
In fairness they would be some addition back with their club, they are playing great stuff over here!

I heard yesterday that they came home last week but the killeeshil committee decided they couldnt play against derrylaughan due to the bad taste that had been left. are they home or not? personally i think if they were home they would have been playing against derrylaughan no matter what as they badly need points.

They are not home yet, but are coming home soon, as tyrone NY have more or less qualified for the knock out stages, but are going back out, something to do with timescale of transfer etc.

I dont know why people are making a big fuss over two players (P McMullan & G Reilly), the other players that went were reserve players. Sounds like people like to use players going to the states for the summer as an excuse for a poor set-up! Its not their fault that 8/9 players turn up for training at home, how many managers is that now they have gone through in a short space of time!!

Good lad! Great debating skills displayed by yourself! Do they not accept your text message language on hoganstand anymore?

Scooby is a reserve player cub! They will be home for the championship alright, as long as tyrone dont get beat on Sunday!

In fairness Scooby played wing half back in the seniors against us. When he was about I believe he has played most of the senior games this season.
If you have nothing nice to type, type it anyway but be prepared for the on slaught

Greencastle beat Loughmacrory in the U21 tonight.

Greencastle 2-12   v Loughmacroy 0-01

Thats a joke!! You would think after winning at that grade last year, you boys would have benefitted more from testing yourselves in the higher grade Ziggy!!! 2-12 to 0-01 is hardly beneficial to either team!!

Laying down a marker for a possible Div 1 relegation / Div 2 promotion play off!!!

Well done to Eskra minors on winning grade 3 Minor Championship on Wenesday night against Drumragh.  Got over a nervy start to win well in the end, and played some good football in second half.

Were any of yous at the other minor finals, was the anthem played, or PA system in operation to at least announce teams?  None of this in Trillick for this game which i found surprising.

Greencastle are cleaning up this year, should be a shoe in for the minor championship this week too.  Some great work going on up there in Ziggyland.

No great surprise here - Grade 3 Minor Final would be a low key event in the greater scheme of things. Unless of course you were a grade 3 minor from Eskra or Drumragh.

Years of hard work rrhf, didn't happen by accident. Still, nothing's won yet.

Yeah well done to Eskra, Definitely deserved winners. After we got of to a good start I had high hopes but not to be unfortunately. We kind of lost our way towards the end o the first half and never managed to get back into it for the second half.
But as we're only losing 3-4 players next year we'll hopefully give it a good rattle next year.

Not much of an acheivement for greencastle imo, after last year why did they not see how they wud fair in grade one instead of stealing the handy candy , i have a suspision that the seniors have a big fall coming with a few players with dis content on their minds watch this space
