he was def in the film but i could be wrong on the rest, he managed the team for ages and i thought he was then. I better withdraw that question so!
Just checked the ufea, he was in the squad that year and came on as sub in the second round, not sure if that was enough for him to get a medal, or if he was in the match day squad.

Jimmy Carter - Arsenal and Liverpool. Not sure if was before the EPL was formed though.

Mikel didn't play with United did he? Don't think he did.

No Mikel never actually played for United, he was on their books and then moved on to Chelsea. I'm told he doesn't count anyway.

Parker would've made half a dozen appeararances for Chelsea in or around 1997, so I'd imagine he played in the league at some point. He was an ignorant h**r too.
