The actual leadership of the actual Republican party were caught on tape saying that Putin paid Trump as well as Rohrabacher

Since Rohrabacher lost his seat Johnson has taken up the mantle

But sure believe whatever you want to to believe, mate, that's obviously your mindset

I've continually called things correct here and that clearly seriously triggers you

Of course, Senator Johnson knows he is talking through his hole, and he knows most other people know, but all he cares about is how his comments sit with the increasingly unhinged GOP base.

in that article, Johnson more or less says it would be his political suicide in his republican constituency  unless he subscribes to batsh*t conspiracy theories and support (by his silence)  the existence of the MAGA terrorist wing.  That makes sense, I can see he has a fair point, however the Milwaukee Sentinel called for his resignation. Senator Ron was so irked he penned a reply which was published despite the lie count (still counting).

If that's his base, and it is, and he encouraged it, which he did, he should vote for conviction and then immediately resign from all politics

Nobody should have the least sympathy for somebody who is relying on a bunch of crazies for votes

He cultivated that craziness and he should have no place in public life

Following that logic Sid, how come we didn't see too many (if any) Democrats to come out and condemn the mobs that tried to burn several cities to the ground this Summer

You weren't listening too hard if you failed to see any Democrats condemn protests that turned into riots.

And you also miss the crucial point that at least the George Floyd protests were based on something real and worth protesting, and not the result of decades of cultivating paranoia and grievance in a section of the population and bringing that to a murderous head through a baseless, bullshit campaign of lies and propaganda, all in the service of the narcissistic leader of the unhinged cult that has replaced the American conservative movement.

Do you have anything to say about the substance of what Swalwell has been laying out?

Did Swalwell in fact do anything wrong? Did he hand over information to the spy? Did he fail to cooperate with or try to hide anything from the FBI? Is there any actual basis for your "CCP demanded it" comment?

18 police officers injured when a mob tried to pull down an effin statue of Christopher Columbus

That'll show them

https://www.google.com/amp/s/chicago.cbslocal.com/2020/07/18/chicago-grant-park-columbus-statue-protest-cpd/amp/

Police, who by the way, are trying to maintain  law and order in a city that had close to 800 murders last year and has now  a huge problem with armed teenage carjackers

Must be great  to live in lala land

Nothing wrong with protesting against the honouring of people like Columbus. Its a perfectly valid position to hold.

Of course it should be done peacefully and not just seized upon as an excuse to riot or attack cops.

As pointed out by the Chicago mayor in her comments.

It's wasn't a protest-It was a prepalnned riot

They brought changes of clothes and had frozen water bottles with them

Most of those arrested iirc, weren't even people of Color.....they were white Antifa type troublemakers

Ok.

I don't anyone denies that antifa-types (and far-right types too) took advantage of the BLM protests in some cases. That does not delegitimize what drove the George Floyd protests, which was an actual, real-life historical issue of injustice, and not a paranoid, bigoted fantasy cultivated by the right wing media and politicians and culminating in the Trump voter-fraud fraud and assault on the Capitol.
