Biden campaign refusing to go on any of the Sunday morning news shows , I wonder why

Because he is winning 🙄

Exactly....all he needs to do is run down the clock

Nothing to be gained by going on TV, although this tactic may not sit well with some of the people whose vote he needs to win.

The way Trump and GOP are going on, if Joe shows up to the debate and doesn't spill his Complan drink or piss his trousers on stage, it will be a win.

does all this gentrification of  city neighborhoods cause homelessness  ? what do you think .

Homelessness has a lot of causes. This is not an exhaustive list but here are some of the causes as I see them:

  • Stagnant wages
  • The expense of being poor
  • Lack of financial acumen (should be taught in school IMHO)
  • Poor land use that forces people to travel big distances for work or any other purpose
  • Lack of a social safety net that would help homeless people to get back into the system
  • Housing shortages, which are caused by

    • Convoluted planning rules
    • Height limits that make it hard to build anything taller than a gas station
    • Mandatory parking minimums that increase the expense of development while also encouraging more traffic
    • Perverse tax incentives that encourage commercial development but discourage residential development (like Prop 13 in California) resulting in some cities having a jobs/housing imbalance
    • NIMBYism, which is caused by

      • Subsidized high rates of home ownership which incentivizes people to shut newcomers out of the housing market to protect their own investment
      • Mostly bogus concerns about shadows, changes to neighborhood character, traffic, etc.
      • The "I'm all right jack to hell with you" attitude

you forgot the number 1 reason drug and alcohol addiction.

LOL-why would he have included that?

He couldn't blame Republicans if he told the truth

IS that the leading cause of homelessness?

Sure Trump could lend him one of those incontinence pads he wears.

He can't even wear a polo shirt without getting his bronzer all over it. This was also taken when his brother was dying in a hospital and was "too busy" to throw out a pitch at a Yankees game

I don't think you would find too many reasonable people making a case FOR Trump

Unfortunately, what the Democrats have done (again!) is give people a reason to vote AGAINST them

I heard this morning that under Joe/Kamala's tax plan, a married couple making $78K would see their marginal rate double from 12% to 24%

Your attempt to change the subject is noted. I've also been looking for this ABC News poll that shows Biden's lead down to 4 points. Got a source? Or were you just hungover when you watched it?

I'd say there's at least a 3-4% undercount of Trumps support in the polls

A lot of people I know won't publicly admit they're going to vote for him

Would the opposite not be just as true in many parts of the country for Biden supporters?
