I don't like Trump and I'm all for protecting the world. I'm all for battling global warming and climate change. I think the US should have stayed and led the movement and I think what Trump did was a mistake.
But when conversing with friends who think it was a good call to leave I don't have any rebuttals. They say there is no evidence for climate change that it's all cyclical. We're on a 240 year cycle coming off the warming cycle and going in to the cooling cycle after 2019/2020 - which I think is horse shit...
But whats the come back - what evidence do you present to someone who thinks like that....

They're also talking about cost to american tax payers for something that has no evidence and leaning on that.

I've no interest in debating it all that much with them. but I'm curious to hear how you would respond.

Does that level of "specificity" when it comes to a "scientific" prediction not ring alarm bells with them?
