am loathe to say this but the world needs another Lee Harvey Oswald right now.

Saw on the news that some Secret Service agent pledged on Facebook NOT to take a bullet for him. As with above, if she gets away with that, then what's stopping an agent refuse to protect the next liberal president?

The process swings both ways. People need to get over it, do their job, and organize and oppose him democratically and get their own guy in next time.

Yes. Brace yourself for the backlash. You people can hang on to power with your voter suppression and gerrymandering, but that crap doesn't last forever. His climate policy would justify it. Say what you like about the Nazis but they never destroyed the conditions that make life possible on the planet.

Strangely or ironically enough, the areas of NYC most at risk from sea level rise (and the ones which are relying heavily on city investment and grants to combat the threat) are among the ones that voted most heavily for Trump.
