I'm love Sanders to win the nomination but even if he got from there to to be president although I think his ideals are great and I agree with the majority of what he says and what he wants to do sadly it would be clinton who would have the most friends and push in office to get things done, that said why not let sanders have a go. Rock the estbalishment.

Trump has his nomination sewn up imo and it will be interesting to see how the party veterans works with him for the election, find it bizarre still that people are sucked in by his hate talk etc.. to run a country you want someone who can talk sense, know their economics and unite the country, all trump seems to care about is the us and against them which is sadly working well so far.

Saw this comment below a Bernie Saunders CNN article and thought it was good;

"I hope Bernie Sanders is elected president so all the people who support Trump get the mental health care they so desperately need"

I can't quite believe that the country would get it so wrong and vote for trump but then again this is the country who put Bush in for a second term so nothing would surprise me.

That is brilliant!

Sanders said he would end all trade deals, as trade deals cost American jobs.

That's pretty odd economic thinking.

Bernie is a socialist.....he knows nothing about economics. He's never had a real job in his life

Personally, I like him......but I find it hard to see how he will get half of this stuff through.

As crazy as Trump is I honestly think he has a shot of becoming president regardless of what the polls say. At the end of the day, the election is decided by the swing voters in swing states....which is about 10% of the population of about 9 states.  He doesn't have to convince too many people

+1 - one man one vote and all that ;)

While swing states obviously matter, they are not immune to national trends. I remember Bob Dole making the point that if he and Gerald Ford could have found 6,000 or so Carter voters in Ohio and convinced them to switch their vote, Ford would have won the 1976 election, and that's true in itself. But you don't pitch your campaign at individuals, you pitch it at groups. Had Ford/Dole found something to appeal to those voters, it might have alienated someone else. And I find it really hard to believe that anyone thinks that Trump hasn't alienated at least a few people.

Maybe, but the amount of $hit that the GOP will unleash on either Hillary or Bernie will be epic.

I really think this election cycle is different....like when Hillary tied to use Bill to attack Trump and it backfired spectacularly.  If she tries to use Chelsea, guess what, she's married o a Wall St Hedge Fund guy and lives in a $10 M house.....Bernie hasn't hit hit her anywhere near as hard as the are Repubs.  will

So they should pull out and leave it to the GOP then?

On the basis that support for the Democratic candidate is as much about keeping a Republican out of the White House as anything else, one of the reasons to support Hillary as opposed to Bernie is that the GOP have already thrown every amount of crap imaginable at her. You either believe that the Clintons murdered Vince Foster or you believe the truth. It's Bernie and the bros who are in for a shock-and-awe should he win the Dem nomination.

Who ever said or proposed that?????

Getting attacked by Bernie is like being attacked by a chichaua.

In the first debate, he could have nailed her on the email controversy and instead punted....could have been game over right there for Hillar

If the amount of sh!t the GOP will unleash on Sanders or Clinton is 'epic', surely you believe it will be very effective and scupper their chances? Otherwise why mention it??
