Thought Liverpool played well. Nothing major to play for for either side but Napoli are a good team and Liverpool were solid, rested a few players, and Darwin nunez again showed how unpredictable and dangerous he can be. Good to see ramsey finally get on the field

Well we won't be playing PSG in the last 16 after Benfica knocked in 6. Benfica or Porto in the next round would be nice instead of Real or Bayern.

The World Cup meant that the Champions League group stages were run over 8 weeks instead of 12. Add Liverpool's injuries in a thin squad. It should be better after Christmas. Maybe top 4.

So for all the bad form we have suffered we are sitting 3rd in the standings overall, behind Munich and then previously unbeaten since last season Napoli?  Not bad given injuries and poor form

Game of 2 halves...second half was a hard watch but 3 points all that matters. Nice to see utd, Chelsea and Spurs all lose.

Newcastle looking like a very viable option for a top 4 slot

Played really well in the first half, it was clear from early on that Salah was on fire. And Nunez while very raw has settled in nicely. When he's running with the ball he cause chaos, not always in a good way, but he's entertaining!

We were poor again in the second half. Thiago and Bobby in particular were just very sloppy and we handed back possession continuously. Spurs can only blame themselves for not getting the draw.  2-0 at the break I would have had Trent off. Some of his passing was absolutely sublime, but truly awful defensively again.
