Maybe wishful thinking but that result feels significant. Capitalising on City dropping points is a psychological thing too.  Liverpool have had the bit between their teeth since the turn of the year.

Martinelli was a handful.  It took Jordan to double up on him second half.

Firmino has to be one of my favourite players from this bunch. He's a joy to watch.

The thing with Firmino is that he is such a team player. He will always pass to the player in a better position. Mane and Salah often won't. He is such a great option still.

Matip (has stayed injury free) and really upped his game and you feel this is because Konate has come in. Nothing like a bit of competition for your place to get you more focused.

Diaz, Salah, Jota, Firmino, Mane - and we have out domestic cup specialists Minamino and Oriji to come in at the weekend.

The squad is crazy at the moment!

Squad is very good is right. Any player can be replaced right now with someone of equal abilities. To be able take off top players like Diaz and Jota and bring on players like Salah and Bobby is unreal. Maybe the only position that has a true lack of cover is Trent.
Matip staying injury free has definitely been a bonus.
You have the likes of Elliott and Jones,Konate and maybe even Kelleher to come in now vs Forest and you know they can do a job.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Liverpool gifted the opening goal by very poor goalkeeping, beaten at the near post but playing better than City at the minute.

It's easier to see City drop points than Liverpool, but early doors yet.

Winning the League will depend on Domestic and European Cup draws (and even getting knocked out), form and injuries. Luck also plays a huge part.

You gotta love Bobby. The Jota goal may have started the ball rolling but Bobby brings the team to another level when he is fit and on his game. They are just so clinical when he is in there and Mo absolutely scores more when he is playing. He is the 'big game' go to and as the season pans out now he will be key to key fit. I reckon he needs to play all the big games with Mane, Jota and Diaz rotating the 3rd spot.

It's all in our own hands but to be boring and cliched it is literally 1 game at a time

No talk about Mane dive early on then Klopp complaining about Mane not getting calls?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

City definitely have the easier run-in, but great to be involved in the title race

If some one had shown me this weeks fixtures and said City will beat Palace and Liverpool and The Gunners would be a draw, I would not have argued much against that. On paper games can look a lot different than on the pitch.

That's true enough to be fair but all we have to go on right now is the fixtures on paper and City's are easier.

Citys fixtures are not easier.

They have to play Liverpool.

Right on cue. TAA out for weeks with a hamstring injury.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

International break coming up, TAA gets a wee break also, he'll be back in action just after it...

Benfica in the CL with Bayern or Villarreal in semi. Couldn't have asked for better really. Chelsea and City have the 2 Madrid teams. City v AM will be tasty. Simone will set them up to be pure dogs!
