Hard to see Liverpool fluff their lines this time. It's theirs for the taking.

Playing some good stuff along the way as well.

Would be worse than the Stevie G slip

Take a breather, long long way to go yet

Manchester man Anthony Taylor to referee the Manchester City v Liverpool game.

Good referee

Get the excuses out early  :D

Regardless of this result Liverpool have way too much going forward..

The best teams win leagues, and the Pool are the best

I am not too sure about that too. The midfield will be key and City have Fernandinho and D Silva fit again so a lot will depend on their influence. Aquero has scored 6 in 6 v Liverpool at Ethihad so its a given that they will score. Of course we are the form team and all that but if you have me a 1-1 draw now I'd snap it off you with both hands. January will be the telling month and whoever is top at the end of January, or at least in the best run, will win the thing outright.

Liverpool have 54 points to play for.  Teams at the top who will be hard to beat and teams near the bottom who will be fighting for their livelihoods near the end of the season will be no push over.  Then you have suspensions, injuries, loss of form, tiredness, attitude, desire and the most important luck!

FFS don't say that it's too early, only half way through this.

Get a grip. Nothing is remotely near decided at this point.

City, who we all thought were near invincible three weeks ago, just lost three out of four before the Southampton game. Its hardly beyond the realms of possibility for Liverpool to lose a couple. Nor is it far-fetched in the slightest to consider that the lead may be a mere four points Thursday night.

Two Hands FFS

I agree. It could be four points by Thursday night. There will be 17 matches left. If Liverpool don't win the league, it'll suit all non Liverpool fans to say 'ach sure Liverpool were 10 points clear of City at Christmas and they bottled it'.
Even if Liverpool won on Thursday night it is not over.

Man City could have their first choice midfield back soon, which is vital for them. This will be massive for the rest of the season.
