Seen Carrolls 2nd a few times now but still not sure if he got a touch on it.

I hope Spurs get them too. Fair play to Liverpool on a good result but How bad were City! Hope they play like that on Saturday.

excellent result. excellent performance. lucas, kuyt, spearing, immense workrate. Goes without saying the goals, big Andy were nice to see also

said on here a while back, i wouldnt have spearing as the cousin of a premiership footballer, happy to stand up and be corrected; he played v well last night; not saying he's the next gerrard, and i would have issues over his height,size etc, but at least last night he showed that he can compete, get involved etc.

a post on 365 said its the likes of spearing etc, local young blood being brought through the ranks that could do decent jobs as squad players, ie, not usually good enough to start, but wont let you down if/when used. Far better this than squad players the likes degen, krompkamp etc etc;
John O'Shea, and Fletcher for a good while forged careers being this type of squad player..

Adam Morgan really making a name for himself. Scored on his reserve team debut today. Thats his 12th consecutive game scoring for him 11 U18 ties and now the reserves, 17 in those 12 games. Not bad for a 16 year old. Long way to go yet and he doesn't rely on pace or strenght/size, just a natural in the box finisher.

Aye Dirk Diggler had a brilliant game. Arguably man of the match but Carroll was always going to get it with his 2 goals.

Morgan is the closest there has been to God in a long time. He has the natural instinct and if he is coached right he can make it to the top. Long way to go but he has the potential.

Loving that shirt. If it indeed is for real. There be's a few prototype and 'leaked' images around the end of the season, but I'd really be hoping this one is legit!
