Apparently the offer from Liverpool was £25m. It's still too much for him though and he's currently injured.

In all seriously, that's crazy money for him. I honestly think he'll be a good player but i'd have been thinking no more than £20m. And newcastle were never going to go for that so i'd be looking elsewhere.

Konchesky is an emergency loan to a lower division team therefore he can do it. Warnock is in to replace him, not confirmed yet.

Just read there maybe suarez is waiting to see if torres leaves. Liverpool may be without them both by 23.00!
