Shamrock Shore

Sad day as my App has stopped working. Cheek of the BBC taking away a wonderful free service funded by ye boys and girls Up North.

What will us Mexicans do now for quality programs? Wait!

Did I hear someone say VPN? I did, you know.

So I am sorted. I would hate to miss Sounds of the 70s, The Unbelievable Truth, BBC news and lots of other great programming.

Whatever about Sounds of the 70s, it is clearly an anti-GFA measure by the BBC to restrict NI news, podcasts etc. And totally unnecessary.

Live programmes you can probably still get on another app that sticks in ad beforehand.
The BBC used to be pretty good at closing out VPNs. One way that would likely work is a UK data sim in roaming mode.

There is a Belfast VPN on Bitdefender so hopefully that will work consistently.

I know VPNs with the BBC can be hit-and-miss when I wanted to listen to 5-Live soccer games.

Would be more of a listen-back as opposed to a live listener.

Seems strange to restrict BBC sounds and still 'allow' us to watch BBC Norn Iron.

Any Uk setting will work for BBC Sounds.

My VPN got me through the game with BBC iplayer on Sunday as San Sebastian had no places that where showing the game

Was able to cast it to the rooms tv
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

BBC Sounds is class. R1 Dance &  Pete Tong sessions. And the GAA Social i suppose.

Puckoon

BBC recently imposed a subscription model for access in the US. $89 a year. It was a convenient but now removed shortcut on the desktop.

Is it still on the go following Johnnie Walker's passing to the big DJ booth in the sky?

The BBC has a lot of issues but much of their radio programming is top class.

Yes Tony

Whispering Bob is back behind the mic.
He's older than Methuselah.

Seems the iPhone App continues to work. So that's good news.

Worked for live radio in the car yesterday on way from Cork airport to Kerry.
