Martin Carney should commentate?

Darragh Moloney is good, refrains from talking s***e unlike the majority of GAA commentators, who seem to get carried away by the sound of their own voice. Carney was infuriating yesterday, so biased at the end of the game. After the final whistle was blown in last year's AI final he recited a clearly pre-written spiel about how the victory would be celebrated across Donegal, in a manner that was just cringeworthy. Dread to think what he has up his sleeve if Mayo win it this year.

I've skipped the ráimeás :

If Carney and his ilk didn't "commentate/observe" prix like yourself would be exposed as bluffers.

He's handsomley paid for his observation/s.....You, a chara, are seen as a, self-indulging bollocks.
Why did you go to the police? Why didn't you come to me first?

I just watched it again, Carney wasn't as bad as you lads are making out.
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.

Carney (or anyone from a county that is playing in the game) should not be allowed to co-commentate when Mayo play..he has been losing the plot for years during Mayo games..almost jumped out of the commentary box when Alan Dillon scored an early goal in 2004 final. Its one of the more stupid things about GAA broadcasts. Also Carney can't pronounce certain names and it annoys me...Daniel Goulding for instance, he calls Golding for some reason...RTE have yet to slip to TV3 levels (Senan Connell anyone?) but the sight of Parkinson being used on a show earlier this year was a worrying trend.

Just get Willie Hegarty and you're sorted, he's an all-in-one package. Dunno if RTE can afford him though.

Is the country ready for loads of "Hairy Marys" though none or the teams left usually resort to that tactic?
