Cold tea

Oh apologies do they not follow normal English Premiership rules of engagement at matches and sing about him being a f**king toe rag and slagging the women off?

I'm surprised Fergie allowed Rooney on a social internet site, afterall he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

What Rooney has said is hardly bad, especially in comparison with what was directed at him initially.  But sure it doesn't matter what is said or done to him, that is purely irrelevant.

At the Man United awards last night Fergie said there will be 3 signings in the summer (one obviously a keeper) for the record Nani got the players player of the year & Hernandez got the fans player of the year.

From the Mail online today.....could see this coming. Disappointed for the guy, vital in the 08 run in.

Manchester United have called time on Owen Hargreaves' career at Old Trafford and will not offer him a new contract.

The decision almost certainly brings an end to the midfielder's playing days after a terrible time with knee problems.

The 30-year-old managed only 39 appearances during nearly four seasons at United and his tendinitis injuries were a source of frustration for Sir Alex Ferguson as well as the Canadian-born former England international.

But the United manager has refused to write off the rest of his career.

'This has been a difficult decision knowing how hard the lad has worked to win back his fitness,' said Ferguson. 'But we have made it in the hope he will be able to resurrect his career elsewhere.'

The news will come as a bitter blow to Hargreaves, who burst on to the international stage in the build-up to the 2006 World Cup and was a one of England's best players in Germany.

His performances encouraged Ferguson to fork out £17million in the summer of 2007 to sign him from Bayern Munich, where he won four German titles as well as a European Cup medal in 2001.

But his football nightmare began at the start of his second season with United when tendinitis, which first struck at Munich, deteriorated badly.

Not even the skills of famed Colorado knee specialist Richard Steadman could find a cure.

United/Fergie gave Hargreaves every chance to get fit but he was jinxed with injuries sad end to his promising United career.

Moving on.. the day has finally arrived! looking forward to seeing the conclusion to another successful season.

Team for today?

VDS
Rafael
Evans
Smalling
Evra
Gibson
Fletcher
Anderson
Scholes
Nani
Berbatov

Nine of that team played v Blackpool in Jan so the FA can hardly fine United for a weak team.

I see Giggsy Wiggsy has been named as the footballer who is taking Twitter to court.

I seriously hope it's not for the reasons that Twitter is suggesting. Giggs is the last bastion of honour and decency in the game, and if he is now also a 'sc**bag' (That's the classification he has to be put into as per Man United fans official interpretation), what do we do?
Personally I have hid all referances to soccer in the house and bought the wee fella a Cricket bat.

RIP Soccer.

I don't think we can label Giggsy in the same breath as Terry. The rate of infidelity in marrages is as high as 65% possibly more, meaning it's more common to have a fling than not.

The victim here is the wife, who unlike the girl who knew by taking on a married footballer would put herself in the limelight, and really that's all she wants, is left with the embarrassment of everyone talking about what's supposed to have happened.

I've no time for the kiss and tell girls, and if true then Giggsy has no one to blame but himself. The reality is there is far much more going on in the world to worry about than what two tramps got up to in a hotel together
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Fergie is 100% correct it wasn't even close, can you imagine how many points United would have won this title if they were better away from home?

No doubt the home form won it & 18 wins one draw from 19 games takes some doing (i think only Chelsea did it in the PL before)

Anyway it was great to be in OT today to witness a truly historic title success & a decent end of season game before the party  :)
