Puckoon

Watched wolfman with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins last night (they were in the movie, not watching it with me).

Watchable enough show, kinda enjoyed it.

Watched Be Kind Rewind earlier today. Jaysus that was an awful film to sit through. I thought with Danny Glover and Jack Black in it, it would have been good. Was glad when it was over.

I kinda liked it. I guess if you are a fan of 80's films there is a lot of funny parts.

What did you think of the likkle kids rapping in the shop? Fuzzy Wozzy... etc.
That that bit was very funny  :)

Na, didn't find that bit funny either.

Saw Green Zone earlier today. Now that was a very good film. Kept my attention the whole way through.

Watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night. Very good show, if a shade too long in my opinion. Definitely worth watching and don't let the subtitles put you off.

Watched Green Zone tonight. Average enough
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

Seen a few over the past few days. Thought Predators was decent enough, maybe it was just the nostalgia factor that meant I was never not going to enjoy it, but like the other few films I've seen in the cinema this Summer, I left feeling that it was yet another one which failed to live up to it's potential. Watched Platoon yesterday, brilliant and probably the best war film I've seen. Finally, rented Shutter Island last night, jesus that was one strange film! I enjoyed it though, and it was unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Canalman

Saw Midnight Run again on E4(I think) on Tuesday last. Absolutely brilliant.

I watched Cop Out with Bruce Willis - not a bad comedy. Its a parody of itself with lots of references to cop films. Its funny in parts and is a bit like an American version of Hot Fuzz. Id give it 3.5/5

I also saw Broklyns Finest - Ironically its a totally different look at the Brokyln NYPD. Its a gritty, dark warts and all look at the NYPD. I liked it but its far fetched and makes cops in the states out to be total scumbags in the film. Id give it 3.5/5 again

V for vendetta was on the telly last night, seems to get better each time i watch it..  Hugo Weaving/Natalie Portman play great parts & the final fight scene is excellent

V: The only thing you and I have in common, Mr. Creedy, is that we are both about to die.
Creedy: How do you imagine that'll happen?

V: With my hands around your neck.
Creedy: Bollocks. We've swept this whole place. You've got nothing. Nothing but your bloody knives and your fancy    karate gimmicks. We have guns.

V: No. What you have are bullets and the hope that when your guns are empty I'm no longer standing, because if I am, you'll all be dead before you've reloaded.

    Creedy: That's impossible. Kill him!

Watch it every time it is on. Why are you so unpopular with the Chicago Police Department?

One of the most predictable films I've ever watched

Going tomorrow, looking forward to it.  I heard good things about it, hope I'm not let down.
