Watched Hot Tub Time Machine last night, it won't win any oscars or anything but some great laughs in it. Watched Gladiator recently, got me really excited for Robin Hood, looks excellent. 12th May release date, isn't it?

12th May yeah, I can't wait  ;D

Seriously can Hollywood come up with anything original these days?

Off the top of my head Clash of the titans, Nightmare on Elm Street,The Karate Kid, Robin hood, Alice in Wonderland & Wall street all remakes this year alone

Denn Forever

Robin Hood is not a remake as I tries to tell the real story of Robin Hood (if he existed).  Well it is a remake but telling a different story.

Looking forward to it.
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

ONeill

Watched Single Man.

It won't be many a person's cupan tae but I liked it a lot. Arty, great shots. Firth is excellent. Follows one day in the life of Firth who has decided he'll kill himself at the end of the day as he can't get over his ex-lover's death a few months earlier.

Unpredictable ending. Maybe not for some. I didn't see it coming.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Make your mind up? didn't they try this with the new Batman film & tried to change the Story but made a balls of it IMO

Anyways Ridley Scott/Crowe has the makings of a good film

Don't they refer to these kind of movie as "re-imagining" of the series instead of a remake

I'd agree, Robin Hood is no more a remake than "The Passion of the Christ" was a remake of "Jesus Chirst Superstar", The Robin Hood legend has existed for centuries and has undoubtedly interpreted and changed time after time, this is just a different take on it.  (plus there's no royalties to pay on stories this old)

ross4life

remakes & sequels overload the last few years IMO

you thought that the Batman Begins movie worse inferior to the others?  Definitely my favourite of them all.

ross4life

Didn't like how they changed the story with Batman Begins (real story or not) Batman 1989 with Jack Nicholson was my favourite & if it wasn't for Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight would have been poor remake
