Irish c&w less quality but any man who doesn't sing along to Philomena and blanket on the ground needs shot 😜😜

Used to have massive rows with the auld lad going anywhere in the car as a teen, and developed a pathological hatred for Big Tom.  Things escalated when, driving along the road somewhere,  he took my copied tape of Queen Greatest Hits II and threw it out the window.  Retaliation came in the form of the next time he went herding,  a tape was tied to the latch of the gate, and at the end of the tape was a Big Tom cassette- a state of detente existed thereafter.
Over time,  I could say I got to like Charley Pride, and could tolerate a certain amount of Mick Flavin.  Big Tom still blacklisted, though.  Johnny Cash,  Kris Kristofferson, the Highwaymen and the likes good, and a shared hatred of Garth Brooks did build some bridges.  Then the Coen bros soundtracks opened a few doors into rockabilly and old timey stuff, which is grand now and again, but the single biggest travesty for me was Nathan f***ing Carter polluting Wagon wheel!!
