Ballycastle it is then. 2pm throw in. 19th of October. I'm glad common sense prevailed.

I dont agree with corrigan. I dont agree with Ballycastle either with a city club in the final. Dunsilly could hold what Ballycastle can

Not a chance it could.

Christ no. We need to limit how many days we have to endure going to a game there at that place.

No one should have to endure more than twice in a year for that place to watch a game.

The parking would be a nightmare.

Even for the semi final there were cars parked up as far as the roundabout.

It was a shambles for the semi finals.

Would there say, be more at county hurling final, in comparsion with Antrim V Wexford etc. in a Leinster championship game in Corrigan Pk?

Dunsilly is one of the better grounds to park at tbh. Went to both football semis and cars were parked all over the hard shoulder which I drove right past into the car park and got a space straight away in both. Yeah takes a bit of time getting back out but miles better than Corrigan.

"note to patrons, Corrigan has limited parking but don't be parking near where people live in the middle of a city either." Completely useless.

In years gone by Armagh regularly hosted county finals in Crossmaglen despite Crossmaglen also being in the final. The same has happened in Omagh.
A few years ago I also recall Newry Shamrocks reaching an intermediate football final and it was played on their home pitch, Pairc Esler.

It shouldnt be in Corrigan, even if St Johns weren't in it!  Parking is a shambles and it's no place for a large crowd (even though the crowd would actually be reduced significantly IMO by having it in Corrigan as many neutrals wouldn't go).

I'm not a fan of Ballycastle as it's very exposed.  My choice would have been Dunloy.

I also totally disagree with IHC and JHC cship matches being played under sub standard lights at this time of the year.  There is no reason why those games couldn't have been played in daylight.

seems to be grand for a big crowd for county games in Div 1? it seems fine when we were doing the Corrigan or nowhere for the Armagh football game? I mean for this time of year our county final should be in a ground that at least has the option for stand and a terrace.

I dont think the crowds at the county Div 1 games are comparable to the county hurling final.

You don't think an Antrim Kilkenny game is comparable to the county final for crowds? What about the Armagh football comparison then
