2 most successful clubs in the last 15/16 years have been St Galls & Cargin - both littered with outside talent and not all homegrown. Taken from that what you will.

Rossa & St Johns could amalgamate and they still wouldnt win either championship

There was a year Cushendall beat the Johnnies after a replay in the semi and the Johnnies should really have beat them and won the championship. I think this crop's ship has sailed.

Both of them really aren't at the level to challenge in either. In the football outside St Galls and LD no Belfast team has really threatened in years that I can recall. (Arguably not too many south west teams have either based on roll of honour mind you before anyone adds that  )

That was their chance alright. Top performer in Ballycastle one game i watched was Nugent at CHB. Hes basically gone, Bradley also. Better players are getting up the years and talent behind isnt the same as other clubs
