Happy enough with that to be honest

Thought we would've squeezed a wee bit more out of them but can complain about it for a 28 (& a 1/2) year old with 2 years on his contract.

Was a very good player for us and will be missed but hopefully this money is being used for Isak.

On a side note we are going to need to sign a CB pretty soon. Gomez has went home with an injury

I wonder will Nyoni and Rio get meaningful first team opportunities this season?

Not a fan of either one. Both look very like united kits. The green one yet too be officially announced is nice though.

Home is nice, throwback to the 2006/2007 jersey. Agree the white one looks very much like a Man United jersey.
The green is nice indeed.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

First bid for Isak submitted - and rejected.

Newcastle are now in the full throes of the transfer death spiral. They are going to lose Isak, but they need to get as much cash out of it to save face and quickly to get a decent replacement in

BBC reporting that Liverpool are not sending a submitting a second bid and have ended their interest in signing Isak.

Cute hoorism?

Would one of the bigger clubs go for him then?

Who though? Arsenal have already signed a number 9. City have a stable number 9. Does anyone else have that kind of money without breaking financial rules?

Would be surprised if Liverpool don't submit a second bid.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Capt Pat

Apparently the bid was for £110 million pounds.
