Five quid is fine, presume the 10 on the gate is to encourage online sales so the money goes to the county direct and perhaps with gate sales that may not always be the case.

None of this weekends group games are worth £10, and the majority of them aren't worth £5 if we're honest.

Why is the streaming in such a bad place? In terms of video quality Jerome does a great job but when you look at lots of other counties. Almost all games are streamed and packages available to buy

Are no games streamed this weekend?

Most counties run their own streaming operation, Jerome Quinn runs ours so his main aim is maximising revenue (for himself)

You'll hardly be at the games then I take it
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

I think £7 is the very max they could go, and without comparing to other sports is probably above what I'd consider suitable. Especially for group games which at times are glorified league games.
The £10 at venue I thought was card only. Even if cash is an option we can't be on here questioning the honesty of gatemen/women and then give off when there's a story of a pensioner who only deals in cash and can't get in.
I imagine the £10 is to encourage sales beforehand and remove the need for cash and card transactions at the venue which are subject to connection issues & long queues among other things.

I would however have thought that now after 5-6 years of tickets that the county may have come up with a suitable season/one club/one code/group games only etc pass.
But then again the full time employee is gone so we could be way behind those idealistic hopes.

As I have already said Jerome Quinn's interest is not giving Antrim supporters value for money

So we got it laid out last night anyway that Div 1 League and Senior Championship are two different animals with handy wins for Portglenone and Creggan.

And probably more to follow today and tomorrow.

takeyourpoint

Until Ballymena went down to 13 men it looked anything but handy for Creggan

Not from Antrim but someone has told me if you play for county and don't play for a Div1 side you've got to move. Surely balls?

Remember hearing that too about Rory Gallagher when at derry.
Told lachlan Murray and niall loughlin they had to move
Again, probably balls but who knows with these outside managers these days.

Championship brings a new spring to every teams step - as seen first hand yesterday with Whitehill, they were much improved from anything recently fair play to them. However, Ahoghill beating Aghagallon AWAY in the championship is a big upset no matter how you paper it. Poor Pete McGrath will get the entirety of the blame, maybe a big part of it warranted but Aghagallon folk surely need to ask questions of their own players after that.

Fair play to Ahoghill too, glad to see that result.

Edit - not EVERY team gets a spring for championship to be fair... Glenravel...
