The fixtures were released on 8th of July and had to be re-released due to the number of errors in them on 18th July!

MR2 always very defensive of the county board. Two championship fixtures in 3 days is a poor decision regardless, clubs asked for it to be changed and to start a week earlier but it fell on deaf ears.

No defending, just asking the question.. The main problem would be not just the putting it back a week. The other codes would also have to be looked at, pitch availability and so on.. I don't think its as easy as that

-Straight knockout
-start the championship later (Like Tyrone)
-start the leagues later / county players miss less league games
-relegate both teams from the league
-1 team promoted from Div 2 league and 1 team from Intermediate championship

Big win for St Ergnats this evening, and a decent point for Comgalls against last years finalists.
