Just out of Superman. I thought it was brilliant and the kids loved.

New York times have listed the top 100 movies from 2001 to present

22 I've watched.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Compiled by 500 industry people voting so not great but useful enough. Seen 70/75 or so, many overrated.

Get Out number 8? God.

Lives of Others and Oldboy two of the very best

nrico2006

So many bad ones in there. The Tree of Life stands out, as does Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind. But the like of Gravity and Aftersun were also terrible while Oppenheimer is the most over-rated on the list.

I have watched 28. It seems that I have been missing out for the past quarter of a century.

Going by that list and some of the titles on it, its been a poor quarter century of movies if that's the top 100.

Actually Mad Max is up there with the worst films in the list.

I stopped reading the list at inglorious b@stards. An amazing opening scene followed by utter pish.

Havent seen it or any subsequent ones in that series.  I watched the originals and thought them just ok, so no real interest in a remake.

It's Ok IMO. Once Upon a Time In Hollywood and Kill Bill shouldn't be behind it on that list.  Django should also be ahead of it and doesnt appear on the list.

TLOTR - Fellowship is there. Fair enough but it isnt leaps ahead of the other 2 in the series. In fact the Two Towers is the best of the trilogy IMO.

Fury Road is much better than the originals, its a unique film in that same director rejigged his formula with huge success. Constant action, seen it about 5 times and its never stale.
