No more wars for the US trump says, but I say this drag the US into one, while Israel laughing all the way to the bank that they suckered Trump and the US again.

Not really.

His non backing of Ukraine has nothing to do with a desire to stop war and suffering and everything to do with appeasing Putin and forcing Ukraine to surrender.

He admires and envies Putin and wants the same level of unbridled power Putin enjoys.

It's more to do with Putin having the goods on him than admiration and envy.

Cuntanyahu obviously has a similar hold.

Question is who's the most unstable outfit to use a Nuc, think Russia and America are the leading candidates.

What a weirdo Mark Rutte of NATO is.

Fresh from his sycophantic private message to Donald Trump which Trump published, he now refers to Trump as 'Daddy'.

Hope you're doing well

What's your take on the Mayors race?

J70

Mixed feelings.

I didn't rank Momdani. Some of his platform is pie in the sky without any prospect of becoming reality. But at least he was out there doing interviews and raising issues like housing and childcare and food deserts. Cuomo thought he could coast to the nomination, but his experience couldn't overcome his and the Dem establishment's baggage.

At this point I do not have a clue how I'll vote.

Momdani, to me, is like AOC. I probably wouldn't want her in charge, but I like that she is in Congress fighting for the less fortunate and intelligently opposing the endless flood of insanity and bigotry coming from Trump and MAGAland.

The GOP are putting up Curtis Sliwa, again. I used to enjoy his morning radio show, but he's a clown and not a serious option.

Adams has been a huge disappointment and is unprincipled and corrupt.

Cuomo is supposed to be on some third party ticket, but will he can overcome the primary humiliation and go ahead with it? He would still has a good shot with a centrist campaign and a lot of people choosing him as the least unpalatable option.

Although the primary was ranked choice voting (single transferable vote), the general election in November is not, it's first past the post, which means that the non Mamdani vote will not be able to use transfers to coalesce around the "least worst" option.

J70

Yep. I wonder will Sliwa and Cuomo drop out to unite the centrist->MAGA vote around Adams?

I was traveling for work this week and was close enough to NYC to pick up the local news.

It definitely seems to have shaken the establishment

Funnily enough he claims to have reached out to former Democratic voters who voted for Trump in November

One thing he said that resonated with me was that (paraphrasing) Democrats needed to start listening and stop lecturing

Anyways-keep well (back into retirement)

Typical of the scumbags Trump has surrounded himself with, all like minded individuals

Son,

I have tried to keep quiet about your character and behavior, but after listening to the way you made Samantha feel today, I cannot stay silent. And as a woman and your mother I feel I must speak out..

You are an abuser of women — that is the ugly truth and I have no respect for any man that belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around, and uses women for his own power and ego. You are that man (and have been for years) and as your mother, it pains me and embarrasses me to say that, but it is the sad, sad truth.

I am not a saint, far from it.. so don't throw that in my face,. but your abuse over the years to women (dishonesty, sleeping around, betrayal, debasing, belittling) needs to be called out.

Sam is a good mother and a good person (under the circumstances that you created) and I know deep down you know that. For you to try to label her as "unstable" for your own advantage is despicable and abusive. Is there any sense of decency left in you? She did not ask for or deserve any of what has come to her by your hand. Neither did Meredith.

I know you think this is one big competition and that we have taken her side... bunk... we are on the side of good and that is not you. (Go ahead and call me self-righteous, I dont' care)

Don't you dare run to her and cry foul that we shared with us... that's what babies do. It's time for someone (I wish it was a strong man) to stand up to your abusive behavior and call it out, especially against women

We still love you, but we are broken by your behavior and lack of character. I don't want to write emails like this and never thought I would. If it damages our relationship further, then so be it, but at least I have said my piece. [Redacted]

And yes, we are praying for you (and you don't deserve to know how we are praying, so skip the snarky reply)

I don't want an answer to this... I don't want to debate with you. You twist and abuse everything I say anyway. But... On behalf of all the women (and I know it's many) you have abused in some way, I say... get some help and take an honest look at yourself...

The US is one sick, sick society and getting worse. Where does it end?

If I was an Irish immigrant to the US, I'd be seriously considering moving my family out of the country, regardless of my status.

Cousin has lived in NY since 87, she has her kids here now being educated and looking to come home full time, just the state of the place is one of the reasons, she has a very good life there, but, its not the place that she enjoyed living at, maybe its different in other places as I've friends that live in Philly, ones from the club, and they seem fine and other friends who have now grandkids so probably rooted to the US.

I would hope that when someone sensible is voted in that the place will become better but coming home here to the the now continual racist marches and riots, though still waiting on the riots in Donaghadee for the murder pregnant wife and the paedo doctor. Coming home here ain't a great alternative
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

"You know, when I did the 250, there was nothing I could do. It was 250. It was 250. So I can't see -- that was my baby. The country happened to be 250 years old. But what I did do is during my first term, I got the Olympics, and I got the Great Soccer. You know that whole deal, right? I got -- we call it soccer. They call it football. I got them both. I got the Olympics. First, I got the Olympics, and I got it. I was president. And I said, you know, it's a shame. It's a shame. I got the World Cup, and I have the Olympics, and I did it. And you have no idea. President Obama didn't want to make a call to the Olympics. You know why? Because he went to Switzerland or wherever, and he said, you know, if a president goes to get the Olympics, you have to have a deal. You have to be chosen. He went there, and he came in fourth, so he hated them, I guess. And he was unwilling to make a call, and they called me up. The Democrats called me up, actually, from Los Angeles, and I said, I'll do it. I made the call, and I couldn't get the people off the phone because they were so starved for love, because nobody would call them from -- anyway, we made a deal. I got the Olympics. Then we got the World Cup with Johnny. We got the World Cup, and I got them both, and I looked at my people. I said, isn't it a shame? I got these two, but it wasn't in the next four years. It was right after that, and the one after that. And I got the Olympics, and I got the World Cup, and we also have 250, so that's a pretty wild term. But I got these two things that are incredible. Nobody else could have done it. I'm telling you, everybody wanted it. Nobody could have done it. And I said, and I won't be president, because I'll be president for four more years, but it won't be -- and then they cheated and rigged the election. They rigged -- you know, they don't even turn off the cameras when I say that now, because now they know it's true, too. But they knew it was true before. Remember, the cameras used to immediately turn off. You see all those beautiful red lights go off. Now I can say whatever I want, because then they know it's true. But they knew it was true before. It's fake news. That's why they call it. But you know what? This term is much more consequential than if I had done it the more traditional way. This was slightly harder, believe me. It's slightly more dangerous, because they're criminals on the other side that tried to put your president in jail and went after him, just like they do in third-world countries. And we all beat em together. We beat em because our level of popularity was so high."

Some of the blind eyes turned and bye balls he gets are hilarious. The golf swing were the sycophants cheer at his 'shot' as he puts the missed ball (off the Tee) into his pocket is my favourite to date.

What will the history books say in 20/30 years I wonder.
