Ellie capsizing, landing on the island, getting captured, getting released and leaving in the space of about five mins was utterly pointless. The only thing I can think of is do demonstrate her care and empathy when she wanted to save the Seraphite kid compared to the even younger kid who would have had her gutted.

Miraculously, the boat washed up within yards of her. What were the chances? Very disappointing end to what was, on the whole, a disappointing season 2.

Pretty poor season. The penultimate episode was very good though.

Anyone still watching Godfather of Harlem? New series enjoyable enough but couple of episodes to catch up on.

Decided to go back and rewatch Stranger things S4. Still a great watch and looking forward to the new series, but have a funny feeling that they left it too long and won't live up to the previous series. Bound to be big changes in the characters at the very least.

I really loved Mobland and I'm a cynical f**ker, I laughed as much as anything throughout, not sure if it was designed to be a pisstake, I don't think it was but it was certainly very funny in parts. Conrad leaving prison a la Noel Coward was perfect!

Just finished episode 6. Its absolute nonsense but I'll see it out now. Yer man Conrad accent definitely based on Martin Brennan (Alan Partridge). Maeve soo exageratted as a wicked villian and that young fellow caused all the bother ffs! The characters are comicut stuff... expecting the Penquin or Joker to appear.

Finished Mobland. I enjoyed it, and will watch more of it.  Completely bonkers.

Also finished Dept Q. I quite liked this too. At first I thought it would be him rattling through cold cases in each episode, but no, one season 1 case. I'll certainly watch more of this too.

I realised when it got to the decompression chamber scene that I have read the book. I can't recall the rest of the story so I'll stick with it. I believe the Scandi original Department Q film series is on Prime.
