Group 1
Cargin
TNN
Dunloy
St Johns

Group 2
PG1
Con Magees
Aldergrove
Rossa

Group 3
Lamh Dhearg
St Galls
Ballymena
Creggan

Group 4
St Brigids
St Pauls

Group 3 the group of death? Two qualify is that correct?

imtommygunn

Group 2 also very tight though probably more for 2nd place. 3 group of death and 1 probably interesting between johnnies and dunloy for 2nd. Aghagallon and st brigids you'd expect to come through in group 4.

Seems more interesting than groups other years but no one really remembers the group stages I guess.

YoungSaff

Some tasty games to come especially in group 3 , look forward to this years championship !

intermediate is as poor as ever. Moneyglass or Sarsfield's likely win it but would be good junior teams in any other county.

Would expect Cargin, PG1, St bridgets and Kickams to top their respective groups. With all 4 Quarter Finals being cracking games!

Cargins to lose still...

NatSoSaff

I'm more than pleased with group 3. If we get through it, we will be have been more than tested in a couple, if not all, of those games.

Cargin must be sick of the sight of whitehill and st.johns.

BigGreenField

Enough in those groups for some good games. Hard to see shock qualifiers but hopefully one or two unexpected.  results.

Lisburn dark horses for IFC.

I think that's three years with the same teams now surely the Down and now Derry model for championship football is the way to go the group stage is just bullshit and with zero intensity

I can assure you, whitehill are more sick of the sight of Cargin and St Johns!

I think we need to go back to straight knock out. Enough of the this group rubbish.

the football isn't as bad as the hurling. Hurling just a procession for all the best teams. At least there is some "jeopardy" in the football but then I guess you can't have a 3 or 4 team SHC. (Then again ar ethere too many in the football?)

I'd still maintain the best championship in Antrim is Intermediate hurling. The others you could run through every match and probably hit well over 90% if predicting winners of matches. So little jeopardy and certain teams know they might only have to turn it on come the semis at the earliest.
