Two yellows, but he got the yellow and was walking a tightrope, marking their best player will put you under  pressure, either move him or take him off, that said we missed a hatful and really should have won that game..

Quote from: Round or stuffed on March 01, 2025, 05:02:11 PMis it true st enda's are trying to play in the senior league, will that put a spanner in the works for dunloy?

15 days until the competition starts and we don't know who is in it, nor who is playing who in 20 days in divisions 2 and 3, is the apathy around this just a sign of the state of football in Antrim. Antrim ladies have their fixtures out and on the website and they don't start for a month, other counties have their house in order, why not Antrim GAA

Are you sure that it's 15 days until the leagues start?  I saw the master spreadsheet for the league in both codes and it has the ACFL down to start on Sunday 6th April and the ACHL to start on Sunday 13th April.  It could be a mistake all the same.  I wouldn't rule it out from our joke of a set up.

I think it's worse than that
Supposed to start same time as last year, which was Sunday 10 March.
If that's the case, we're a week away.

Antrim played well in patches last night, both teams had their spells, but the whistle came at the wrong time for us. Paddy McBride got a two pointer and was on verge of possibly another equalising two, when the ref blew the whistle.

I came home with a mixed bag of feelings tbh. What might I have done differently and all that (we are all managers and experts when we pay the entrance money lol).

Of course we are not there to see what goes on at training whenever you throw all the players into the same mix, who stands out, who's got engines and who hasn't, attitudes etc, all part of picking a team.

Another close but no cigar stat for Antrim, we've been seeing these for years, with all sorts of managers and even when arguably we had a panel of bigger names.

We must beat Sligo at home now, or unfortunately the dreaded drop may await. Unless that happens we should stay fully united behind players and management who are putting in many hard yards.

I fancy us to pip Moneyglass by 42 !

Randalstown to beat Ahoghill by 5

PG1 to beat dunloy by 10+

Cargin to beat ballymena by 3

Was heading towards a 42 point win at one stage

they are a draft, why no division 2 or 3 fixtures released yet, the contempt shown for club players, coaches and clubs is like nothing seen anywhere else in ulster, in every other county, clubs know when they are playing, who they are playing and what division they are playing in more than 2 weeks out from the beginning of the season
