Acting by proxy for Fearon.

Crocker v Donovan tonight in Belfast should be a cracker. Struggle to recall an all Irish fight with this much hype.

I think if Donovan can handle his nerves in front of that big Belfast crowd, he has the skills to either beat Crocker on pts or knock him out late.

Hope the winner goes on to get a world title shot either way.

Square Ball

In the name fook, can't believe he has been disqualified.
Hospitals are not equipped to treat stupid

Crazy stuff. Fight should have been stopped earlier, but Donovan so stupid to do that with two points deducted already

tintin25

Some ending, Donovan was levels above

gallsman

Madness. Punch was very, very, very late but the ref has had an absolute shocker there. Fight should have been stopped long before that. Crocker's eye was done.

nrico2006

Pundits talking about it being a great fight that everybody would want to see again when it was one way traffic. Crocker saying he heard the bell and dropped his hands, but his hands were up when the punch landed. He wouldn't have made it through the next round either.

Awful, a real WTF moment. The ref had the time to process it, it wasn't a split second / reactionary decision... Brutal on Donovan who was by a distance the better boxer

Silkyskillssunshinee

Lack of discipline from Donovan there but it's clear that he's the only one capable of challenging for world honours.

Was very one sided and I think Crocker was looking for a way out at the same time.

nrico2006

Crocker isn't taking a rematch.

Not sure you can say Crocker was looking for a way out. He was getting pummeled and got back. Was desperately trying to stay standing until the bell. It's not his fault.

Ref has had a 'mare and could have avoided an the controversy, but Donovan lost control and it's cost him big time.

He lost control or didn't hear the bell. Only he knows.

He was in the zone and unloading, add in the noise..

gallsman

As I said, the ref should have been in there much earlier but "being in the zone and unloading" to the point of not hearing the bell in boxing is, by definition, losing control.

Also, whether he heard the bell or not is irrelevant. It was waaaay after it. A blatant foul.
