Civil case. Her story wouldnt stand up in criminal case were it has to be beyond reasonable doubt.

Not trying to be funny but I thought it was fairly strange that she was all over his mate after the alleged rape ?Groping him and kissing him
Were you there?
That was reported in the trial. CCTV exists of her kissing the other fella as they leave the hotel.

Cocaine is a f**king awful thing.

Just right too, McGregors scum

Captain Scarlet

Joey Barton reckons there is 2 sides to every story. They took him down when he spoke about his political ambitions...
What planet are these lads on?!

Andrew Tate backing him up too. All the worst people coming out to support Mcgregor.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Barton another pleb trying to carve out an "anti-woke" career like Tate, Lawrence Fox etc.

Well that is obvious.

At the end of the day both were on a coke fuelled bender, god only knows what the truth was. Neither are coming out of this smelling of roses

Of course there are two sides to ever story. They both told theirs and a jury of their peers believed Nikita Hand's version more than McGregor's. Nothing more to it. No conspiracy. He hasn't been silenced.

imtommygunn

He's a bad f**ker regardless of losing the civil case and winning the other. He's not a good human being at all and the other fella doesn't sound great either - a small child would be more literate too.

At the end of the day he is a toe rag coke head from a scummy part of Dublin who made it big. His true self came out again when the money came in

Captain Scarlet

Just to be absolutely clear I meant to be quoting Barton. I HATE him and all those edge lords.

The US fans of McGregor have no clue what he's like. Like even in his v early days he ripped off his coach.

He was never a decent fella. Also he lived in Lucan when he was a teenager. He was born in Crumlin and went to school in Harold's Cross.

It's not like he was dodging drive by shootings!!

Costs to be decided this week.

General rule is that the loser pays. I think the judge has some discretion, but that it's rare they veer from the general rule.

So while McGregor would be on the hook for Hand's costs, she could be on the hook for Lawrence's costs. That would take a mighty chunk out of the 250k. Also you'd think McGregor's lawyers would argue that a portion of her costs related to the Lawrence case so they should only cover maybe 70-80% of her costs.

McGregor said he was paying Lawrence's legal fees to maybe that changes things. Also he made some disparaging tweets against the judgement, including calling it a kangaroo court (now deleted) but no doubt Hand's lawyers will be able to show them to the judge, and that surely won't go down well.

There's also rumour that McGregor may have made an official compensation offer and notified the court of it. There is nothing to support this so far, so I'd take with a pinch of salt. But if there was an official offer lodged with the court prior to the start of proceedings, and it was turned down, and it was more than the compensation awarded by the jury, then the plaintiff would be on the hook for all costs.

The man is a wrongun but come on guys the case the 'lady' put forward is riddled with holes? I can't believe the reaction on here, with only one other poster calling bullshit. I don't believe she was raped and is in it for a hefty pay day.

Agree her story makes f**k all sense, but if she was in it for the money was she not offered a million or more out of court?
