tough side of the draw to be on for sure.   Ballymena surely our best Intermediate prospect in years?

Since St Endas, and its very similar to them being in Div1

Randalstown were decent that year they were in it and I think Ballymena the last time they were in it were decent and got to the final but not much since(obviously st endas aside).

bannside

We definitely get behind them all, they now represent Antrim as well as themselves.

Bit of a murky picture hard to say that any of the normal favourites are firing yet either - Glen are puffing a bit (or are they timing it). Kilcoo haven't been tested yet, Scotstown the same. Tyrone teams look in best form but usual caveats apply. Eunans could be interesting, has the McGuinness charm carried across Donegal club football?

Like a bookie naming every horse in the race there's a favourite there for everyone.

Cargin squad as battle hardened as it's going to be and the final will have done them the world of good in pushing on, as good a year as any to give it a rattle.

ClubScene13

The record of 1 win on penalties and 6 defeats by a minimum of 4 points each time would tell me the Cargin posters on here should try to win with a bit more grace than they normally do. It is pure scutter every year and dare I say arrogance. I'm sure it is no representation of players or wider club / communtity. Just a few on the wind up but unnecessary.

Maybe it is well deserved the county record is unbelievable, but if you were 10 mile down the road there might be more humility when it comes to football

Quote from: Round or stuffed on October 14, 2024, 11:07:01 PMTreasa's badly beat in intermediate, 17 points. surely Dunloy, Moneyglass or St Endas won't be happy to give up a place in senior to them

Heard the following -

St .Tereseas have taken option to stay in Div2 /IFC.
Dunloy retain SFC status as a consequence

Aggies have withdrawn from Div 3 playoff with Lochra. Are Lochra promoted?

Gort na Mona members claiming they are staying  in Div 2 as a consequence.

Hard to know what will happen ...of if anyone knows the answers either

Its scutter alright, scutter listening to the same people every year saying theres 4 or 5 teams capable of winning Antrim. Complete Scutter. There hasnt been 5 different winners in the last 20 years. (Edit, make that 26)

As for 10 mile down the road? Whats that even mean?

I heard something similar, along with D1 being reduced to 12 teams, which could mean the Johnny's get relegated  to d2, which makes me think this part at least won't happen! That would give Div1-12 teams, Div2-12 teams and Div3-8 teams. As usual, a cluster fxxk 1 year carries through to damage several years.

Would be a better Div 1 albeit St John's as a proper dual club might feel hard done by , ye make your choices. Really do need to have reserve teams join the main league structure and go to 4 Divisions.

his point (which you have missed in your haste to have a pop) us that Being King of the Dump is great but don't get annoyed if the neighbours point out it's an empire built on dirt.

Would St John's then field at Intermediate in football seeing as they'll be Div2?

Harsh to relegate teams without giving them a heads up what they were playing for from the start of the season.
