Galway Nr 2?

Yes

If Mickey G was able to jump ship and join another county in a matter of weeks it pulls into question the reason he gave for leaving. He has lost a lot of respect in my book.

These lads don't care its the €€€ being slipped into the pocket that motivates them.  Apparently Leitrim are losing alot of players going travelling wheter he knew about that or not before he took the job is another question.

Tbf if players aren't committing I don't blame him.

Don't buy that excuse. He was the head coach with Leitrim the last year under Andy Moran and was involved with a Leitrim club before that so would have known the commitment situation of players before he accepted to become Leitrim manager.

He had over a month after Andy Moran stepped down to ask around to see which players are opting in or out before he accepted the Leitrim job.

They are a county with a high turn over of players every year and having been involded already Graham would have known this.

Duine Inteacht Eile

He was with Leitrim until something better came up. A no brainer.
Money and profile wins. If you thought there was anything more to the managerial circuit, you'd want to get yourself looked about.

Blue in hope

He would have been on a lot more €€€ in Leitrim than he will get in Galway

Both Mickey Graham and Dave Morris have been added to PJ's backroom team this evening. Whatever about Mickey, getting Dave Morris onboard is absolutely brilliant news.

Graham appointment especially the manner of it will remain a talking but getting David Morris involded looks like a very good appointment, him and father Frank have been played a huge part in the success of Corofin over the years.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I think Galway football folk are a bit agnostic about Mickey Graham replacing Cian O'Neill but nearly all would be delighted to have Dave Morris involved. You'd find it hard to find anyone who doesn't rave about his coaching abilities and philosophy.

GaillimhIarthair

A little more perspective on the recent coaching appointments in Galway.  Delighted to see Dave Morris finally involved with a Galway senior team.

Morris a big appointment for Galway and players will look forward to seeing what he has to offer. A bad smell will follow Graham about for the next while, how do you trust a fella like that.

No different to how Harte behaved with Louth last year.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

Do you know anyone who has every left a job for a payrise or for a better opportunity?

Every done it yourself?
