Yep, from looking at the pic, from that angle, you can't say all of the ball is out.

Nor can you say that it shows that part of the ball didn't cross the line. It's an off angle photo ffs. If it was to be incorrectly used to argue the case one way or the other I'd say it's highly suggestive that the ball was out.

Reminds of the Japan goal Vs Germany in the world cup where people the world over appeared to struggle with the concept of footballs being spherical.

I don't think that photo clarifies anything other than the umpires probably didn't know for sure either. Only two people positioned to say with confidence are the two Cargin players on the post. Hardly matters anyway, Cargin are away into Ulster and Portglenone like everyone else will be thinking how to go again next year.

Ah now lads, you are just trying to stoke the ashes here. The pic going round very clearly shows the whole ball is well out, like we arent talking inches rather feet.

"It categorically doesn't." is an appropriate quote I've recently read on this board. It remains very debatable.

I read an article online that says Corrigan will no longer be available to county hurlers.
Is this true? Does it also apply to the footballers?

If someone doesn't believe what their own eyes and an independent photographer are saying then they are just confirming their own bias. Chances are they are their own club's slabber.  Just give the referees and his umpires their fair dues in getting the call right, blowing the incident early and calling it there and then.

The hurling would near be better up in one of the north antrim venues anyway tbh.

Wonder why it's not available. You would think with the money pumped in from the county it would be.

Spike

Strange one.

Wasnt there a plan to put standing terraces for 1000 supporters to replace the grass banks at Corrigan? Maybe they are starting that work and in certain weeks the grounds wont be available to the county?

The portglenone player was that far back he is nearly at the fence there is zero chance that ball is still in play better still all cargin players stopped knowing it was wide and not one portglenone player protested either that in itself tells its own story

They could've done with a bit more psi in that ball.  Deflategate replay?

Lol lol lol...

The bots are out in force, and still no evidence to show the ball was out of play. But hey, let it go, it's over, we were in your head before the game and we will be in it again.

We move on. Hopefully Cargins superb game management continues in Ulster, good bunch of lads, and no ill will from PG1 whatsoever.

But be clear about one thing picture of innocence bystander. Your comment that PG1 don't know how to win and Cargin dont know how to lose will come back to bite you in the arse.

That was a battle on Sunday, Cargin do what they do, and PG1 go back to the well.
