The only thing I anticipate is a couple of hard fought crackers. Great weekend of sport, Johnnies Creggan and Dunloy will all be nursing a bagful of what ifs over the winter.

Nothing between a lot of clubs, Cargin still set the standard, easily most impressive weekend performers.

Could it be more a problem of systems employed by those challenging Cargin?  15 men behind the ball, slow the game down, counterattack and then sit back again.  Do the managers not trust their players to be more than this?

That's something that's rife in the game more than just in antrim I would say.

LD and Portglenone I'd expect to be tight. LD FF line some experience between them  ;D

The same could be asked of Cargin when they met Glen. It's just the nature of football at the moment.

LD did well to keep 15 men on the field yesterday - I wonder will those tactics be as successful against PG1.

NE V Glenravel

Galls won handy enough in the end - I think there was 3/4 in it at HT.

would agree about the point of slowing the game down, wouldn't agree about saying they employed 15 men behind the ball.

what we can be sure of is that the Biddies and PG1 will be counterattacking, they dont know any other way.  Creggan played a horrible brand of football this year and were found out. Ahoghill needed to keep the game tight for as long as possible but the horse had bolted within 10 minutes. Dunloy will be unhappy with that 1st half performance yesterday.  in a way the Johnnies giving them a rattle will remind PG1 what real championship is all about - could be the making of them.  we'll see in 2 weeks

Hard to know as both haven't been setting the world alight in the championship. Possibly slight favourites - I imaging it will be tight enough.

It was comical, never seen anything like it.
