The handbags had nothing to do with the coach's words in fairness. It was to do with the poor decision making of the referee. Where he also failed to notice a player from St brigids play a starring role in it before juking to sit on the sub bench whilst the other players where getting carded.

I get where you are coming from but a referee never threw a punch at any row I ever seen.
Discipline comes from the players and in the case of juveniles it's supported by the actions and ways of the mentors.
It doesn't always work just that simply but there's plenty of referee mistakes and bad decisions but 30+ players and mentors involved in games who make their own choices.

I don't even know who the PG1 coaches are.

I mentioned that there was a report referring to all "hell breaking loose" and then spoke about how coaches in general can impact on behaviour through how they communicate.
And finally I responded to someone saying it was the referees fault a fight started, by pointing out how I've never seen a referee throw a punch.

I have nothing against nor do I know any of the coaches involved in last nights game.

Personally myself I see no issues in getting u16s fired up for a county final. If pg1 had of went out there nice and soft st brigids would of destroyed them. Physically far bigger than pg1.

To be honest G&T the two Derrymen names I heard didn't include Ronan, but so many rumours going around its hard to know. Two I heard wore the Jersey, one more frequently than the other. Though it was described to me as a ready to go plan B.
